In the eight years that this article has been around no-one has managed to add a single reference. A recent editor and one who was involved with the company makes the rather sweeping statement on the talk page "there are no reliable sources in Zimbabwe". If so, then however significant the company be in the development of the internet in Zimbabwe, it cannot be allowed an article here. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 20:48, 7 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

- Delete The section on "Ownership History" indicates the firm went through a number of names in a short period, between UUnet and a final merge into Econet Wireless, but nothing is found to indicate its individual notability per WP:CORPDEPTH. A viewpoint on Talk:Data Control & Systems is well worth reading: the convoluting history of early ISPs is interesting (and probably under-documented) especially in that country's socio-political context, but broadening or repurposing this article in that direction would be original research. - Keep - I've added a few references, but they are not enough to establish notability. However, this google search shows several potential sources, which I can't access because they are behind a paywall. In my opinion, the excerpts visible in the search results establish notability, or at least should give us confidence that newspaper sources probably exist in Zimbabwe. --Cerebellum (talk) 23:29, 29 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
