Cosmic Era

Nominating this article for deletion for four main reasons:

No independent sources here to WP:verify notability of this topic.
The main source for this article appears to be copied word for word and is thus a WP:COPYVIO
The article is entirely redundant to Mobile_Suit_Gundam_SEED#Plot and represents a WP:CONTENTFORK
The article is almost entirely a violation of WP:NOT#PLOT. Wikipedia isn't a place for detailed plot summaries that have no meaning to the real world.

The copyright violation strikes me as a reason for speedy deletion. But even if you were to tweak this article until it no longer resembles the copyrighted material, it would still fail to meet Wikipedia's guidelines for the other reasons. Shooterwalker (talk) 18:47, 24 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Delete Per the reasons stated in the nomination. Anything of real-world relevance is already covered in the Gundam and Mobile Suit Gundam SEED articles, so all information in this article is an unnecessary content fork that doesn't meet the criteria of fiction-related subjects neither the general notability guideline. It also fails at the criteria of appropriate topics for lists and notability at the manual of style for anime- and manga-related articles, being mostly an indiscriminate collection of information, more appropriate for a fansite. Rebuild As "Comsic Era" is the name for a set of TV series, books, comics, etc, an overviewing article should exist. As "MS Gundam Seed" is only the first property in the set, it should not be the overview article, it should only cover the TV show that it is named after. 76.66.194.212 (talk) 04:49, 25 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Rebuild the article? If a person would do that then all the info in this current article would have to be deleted and new info added in, it is just easier to make a new article then to go through all that, plus the history of Cosmic Era is saved this way for future reference or AfD's. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 03:34, 30 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
