This is another one of User:Groubani's specials (see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Peru–Romania relations if you don't know who s/he is). For a start, this fails WP:N. Also, previous debates (such has Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Canada–Moldova relations, Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Laos-Romania relations and the aforementioned Peru-Romania discussion) have determined that mere diplomatic relations between two countries does not confer notability. Further more, the two don't have an embassy in the other one's country (Chile's representation is in its embassy in Athens, and Cyprus' representation is in Madrid). - Delete - agree with nom, relations aren't notable, considering there aren't even embassies in the two countries. No reliable, secondary, independent sources have been offered. Jd027 (talk) 22:58, 25 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete The nominator summed it up succinctly. Pastor Theo (talk) 04:11, 26 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete. To confer notability, diplomatic actions need to be documented. Since they don't even have their own embassies, it is unlikely the relations are relevant enough to support an article. - Mgm|(talk) 11:53, 26 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete as per nom. Given zero relations or notable events in those non-relations, this one seems obvious. TNplinko (talk) 00:19, 27 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete per all above. Yilloslime TC 15:08, 27 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete - totally random pairing of two countries with no real ties; such articles have quite consistently been shown to fail WP:N. - Biruitorul Talk 15:34, 27 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
