The result was delete. Those sources indicate little in-depth coverage, and thus consensus seems clear. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 06:19, 16 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
AfDs for this article:
- Apolyton Civilization Site (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) – (View log • Stats)
- (Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL)
No reliable sources found. All of the sources in the article are primary, or tangential name-drops in relation to something else. I was unable to find any significant coverage. The only hits on Google News all stem from the same forum, and say nothing except that the site released a podcast. Under no circumstances is that non-trivial coverage. Last AFD was from 2006 with no real policy-based arguments. Article has been tagged for secondary sources since February 2007 with none forthcoming. - Comment – Customized source search for "Apolyton Civilization":

- —The "GNews old" link is providing four pages of news results. Northamerica1000(talk) 00:55, 2 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- All of which are nothing but name-drops (several instances of "The site recently released a new podcast" from Inside Mac Games; a Spanish blurb on a totally unrelated fansite; and other false positives that have nothing to do with the site — they just happen to have "apolyton" and "civilization" in them. - Weak delete: I found a few sources that might hold the article up for WP:GNG, but I'm really very much on the edge on this one. If anyone comes up with more, I'll strike my !vote. Nomader (talk) 13:44, 2 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- A GameZone article that has an excerpt from a book about Civilization, where the author describes how Apolyton Civilization Site has a huge impact on both the fan-based community and the development team. (This is probably the only article I found that was really about Apolyton) [1]
- This (apparent) research paper from MIT which name drops Apolyton as "a semi-official site catering to the Civilization series and games like them". [2]
- Gamasutra cites them for information on a Civilization developer [3]
