Also, the fact that it lost much of its enrollment after Hurricane Andrew (and was converted to a magnet school to maintain enrollment) seems "noteworthy," even if it is not an item that appears on a standard Wikipedia list of features that make a school "notable."--orlady 12:21, 6 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

keep per having many reliable sources and per having an award given to a small number of schools. I still think that Silensor's essay should be completely disregarded, but in this case we have a heck a of lot (ok, so I'm becoming an inclusionist. Everyone changes).
