Steven Keeler is the lead singer of the English hard rock/ punk four piece Lewd Britannia. The band, formed in 2007 are notable for their on stage energy and willingness to perform original material over simple cover songs, a bold stance which has meant the band has had to fight against bands and groups performing well known hits. In spite of this Lewd's fan base continues to grow substantially. Bohmini.A exploits security flaws in Adobe Flash 9.0.115 with Internet Explorer 7.0 and Firefox 2.0 under Windows XP SP2. Adobe Flash 9.0.124 is not known to be vulnerable to Bohmini.A. In July 2008, it was known that Bohmini.A spread as malvertising from 247mediadirect through the Zedo advertising network via the social networking site Facebook. Bohmini.A is detected by at least one known anti-virus product; Microsoft Windows Live OneCare. However, as of August 12 2008, Microsoft Windows Live OneCare does not remove Bohmini.A completely, although it claims to have detected and removed it. To remove Bohmini.A under Windows XP, run a known detecting anti-virus product such as Windows Live OneCare and then go to Control Panel and select Switch to Classic View. Then select Scheduled Tasks and remove all tasks with the prefix At such as At1, ..., At24. The Bohmini.A installation is customizable and therefore each of the implementations vary. For example, the executable names vary. Bohmini.A is configured to notify and update itself over HTTP. See also[edit]External links[edit]

China's Labour Contract Law was adopted in June 2007 and came into effect on 1 January 2008. It is intended to protect workers, and stipulates, among other things, that employers must keep an employee handbook with rules and regulations of employment, and that employers can only enter two term-contracts with an employee. If employment continues after the second term the worker is considered to be employed on an open-term contract. Under the law all labour contract have to be in writing, and employees can claim double salary for months worked without a contract (up to 12 months). In 1973, members Don Wyatt (a veteran of groups as The Fortunes and The Colts), Barbara Lewis (former member of The Elgins), part-time actor Steve Flanagan, jazz and classical scholar Celeste Rose and pop singer Barbara Berryman, released their self-titled first album, which included the jazzy single "You Can't Hide Love / Lovesville" (written by Scarborough, later covered by Earth, Wind & Fire), and the 12-minute disco hit "Who Is He (And What Is He to You)", written by Bill Withers, and arranged by Paul Riser, fresh from working on The Temptations' album "Masterpiece". As Stokes and Clarence Avant (president of Sussex) once declared, the group was different: its members were energetic, hopeful and had a kind spirit, they did not have a leader, they were five educated individuals who shared opinions and worked together, creating sophisticated five-part harmonies. After their initial date in Los Angeles (which was extended from three to seven weeks), they went on tour, and opened for Duke Ellington, and B.B. King, in Las Vegas. When Sussex dissolved they recorded with Polydor Records, but after releasing more singles without success, the group disbanded in 1977. Don Bryant died in 1990, Rose became a lawyer, and Flanagan relocated to the Netherlands, but both Barbaras continued singing. Sources[edit]http://rateyourmusic.com

Biography[edit]Daniel Sibony is a French-language writer and psychoanalyst born on August 22, 1942 in Marrakech in a Jewish family that lived in the Medina. His native tongue is the Arabic. His cultural language is the Biblical Hebrew. He started learning French at the age of five and immigrated to Paris with his family at the age of thirteen. In Paris, he obtained a bachelor's degree and a Ph.D. At the age of twenty-one, he became a Mathematics Assistant Professor at the University of Paris. He was a Professor at this same university until 2000. He also accomplished his studies in Philosophy and obtained a Ph.D. in 1986 with an Academic Jury composed of: E. Levinas, J.T. Desanti, H. Atlan and Michel de Certeau. Daniel Sibony became a psychoanalyst at the age of thirty-two. He completed his training with Lacan and has a close professional relationship with him. For several years, Lacan attended the seminars of Sibony on “Topology and the Interpretation of the Dreams” at the University of Paris-Vincennes. “This exchange helped me to become neither a Lacanian nor an anti-Lacanian, but to be able to integrate the best of the Lacanian thinking: the readings of Freud and to stay away from the worst, the sects”, states Sibony. Since 1974, Daniel Sibony has animated an independent seminar on the relationship between therapy and creation. Bibliography[edit]Daniel Sibony has published so far thirty-three books in French on a large variety of topics ranging from abstract to very concrete ones. Sibony’s books that focus on essential philosophical, anthropological and psychoanalytical subjects aim to convey original and innovative content and thinking. They invite the reader to reflect on the very root/origin of the problems and subjects discussed. The most important moments of Daniel Sibony’s thirty-four-year-creation are: · The Challenge of Being. Analysis of Therapies [L’enjeu d’exister. Analyse des thérapies] (Seuil, 2007) highlights different contemporary psychotherapies, including psychoanalysis and medicine. It shows the role of the subconscious at different levels and reflects on the psychoanalysis, approaching both the sects and other types of critiques of the psychoanalytical thought. The book states that the main challenge for a human subject – beyond his/her symptoms and illusions or because of them – is to exist, to be. The author assigns a special meaning to this “being”. · Biblical Readings [Lectures bibliques] (O. Jacob, 2006) focuses on new interpretations of essential passages of the Bible. Sibony’s thinking respects the religious or atheist approaches of the Biblical texts, and most importantly, it brings light to the subject by focusing on the subconscious. The author reads certain Biblical episodes as key moments in the transmission of a symbolical meaning, conscious and subconscious . · Creation. Essay on Contemporary Art [Création. Essai sur l’art contemporain] (Seuil, 2005) is an innovative analysis of the artistic creation as an act that intermingles particular realities. An act that connects the narcissism of the artist and the spectator in an emotional instant of truth that can be also called the “transmission of being” – which often has a therapeutical effect. Artists greatly appreciated this book. Some confessed: “I have the feeling that you have met me in a place where I thought I was so lonely…”.
· The Three Monotheisms [Les Trois monothéismes] (Seuil, 1992; 1997) analyses the relationships of the three monotheist religions with the original Texts and the connections in between them. · Name of God. Beyond Monotheisms [Nom de Dieu. Par-delà les monothéismes], (Seuil, 2003; 2006) reinforces the ideas of the previous book and raises an essential question: in what believes the unfaithful? Or, does the divine have a meaning for the unfaithful and for the ones that do not belong to the mainstream religions? The author, who reads Hebrew and has Arabic as native tongue, approaches directly the Koran to show its specificity besides the Bible and the Gospels. This approach helps to better understand the present situation of the Islam and its relationship to other cultures. · The Middle East. Psychoanalysis of a Conflict [Proche-Orient. Psychoanalyse d’un conflit] (Seuil, 2003) analyses the subconscious core of this Conflict. A core that goes beyond the political, rational and simple solutions. The author introduces the term of “terre possédée”(possessed land) to better illustrate the particular status, paradoxically universal, of this “ombilic brûlant” (burning umbrilical point) called the Saint Land. · Violence. Courses [Violences. Traversées] (Seuil, 1998) starts with the violence of the young and ends with that of beauty. The book is based on a research on the confrontation of two symptoms or narcissisms. It is about the present and ancient forms of violence. Sibony’s reflection overcomes the question of inner and culturally acquired violence. The opposite of violence, states the author, is not rationality (because the rationality can be as violent as the un-rationality), but freedom as an infinity of possibilities. In fact, violence is the reaction of human subjects that can neither bear their freedom nor lose it.
· The Game and the Pass. Identity and Theatre [Le Jeu et la passe. Identité et théâtre] (Seuil, 1997) analyses the term “game” as an essential moment of life, as well as the possibility to change mediums and to be in connection with “the game of being”. The Pass is the only play written by Sibony. · The Body and the Dance [Le Corps et la danse] (Seuil, 1995; 1988) is a research on the body in the contemporary dance. Many choreographers, actors and psychotherapists use it in their work and research. The key notion of the book is “the dance of being”. In the same volume there are some original texts on fashion, music etc. · With Shakespeare. Glares and Passions in Twelve Plays [Avec Shakespeare. Eclats et passions en douze pièces] (Grasset 1988; Seuil-Points, 2003) contains twelve conferences of Sibony on the twelve famous Shakespeare plays (Hamlet, Macbeth, Othello, Romeo and Juliet, Julius Cesar etc.). Soon, the author will publish another volume on the Shakespearean plays. He has already given conferences in Paris on the thirty-six plays.
· Gift of Self or Sharing the Self. The Levinas Drama [Don de soi ou partage de soi. Le Drame Lévinas] (O. Jacob, 2000) is a research on Levinas philosophical track and a critique – soft but well documented – of the philosopher’s thinking. The starting point is that Levinas – after Heidegger adhered to Nazism – had to give up some of Heidegger’s ideas taken from the Hebrew Bible. Ideas regarding the being, the ontological failure, the revelation etc. · The Anti-Semite Mystery [L’Enigme Antisemite] (Seuil, 2004) focuses on the positive particularity of the Jewish people and on the negative affect this people has attracted for centuries. Sibony interprets this affect as an identity crisis that can touch the Jews themselves. · Racism, an Identity Hate [Le “Racisme, une haine identitaire] (Bourgois, 1988; Seuil-Points, 2001) highlights extreme forms of affect as the Nazism or the Islamic fundamentalism. The author criticizes the notion of identity that becomes so rigid in the case of certain individuals.
· The Jewish Woman [La Juive] (Grasset, 1983) and Pleasures of Saying [Jouissances du dire] (Grasset 1985). The two books have the same subtitle: Essays on the Transmission of the Subconscious. This eight hundred-page volume is the Ph.D. dissertation that Daniel Sibony defended in 1986 at the Paris-Sorbonne University with a jury made up of E. Levinas, H. Atlan, M. de Certeau, O. Revault d’Allones, J.T. Desanti et R. Mizrahi. He describes the major points of what he calls the movement of the letter and the spirit of the letter in the Biblical transmission (Jewish and Christian). In this same work, he introduces the key term of incarnation of the letter that he also calls “the coup of Christian force”. That happens when a man takes the responsibility to incarnate either a literal trace (and that gives a symptom) or the failure of the letter itself, which is the sacrificed Christian incarnation. Other notions as the intrinsic breaking of the law, as well as the three forms of symbolic transmission (the direct or subconscious transmission and the transmission of the subconscious) are introduced.
· Perversions. Dialogues on the Present Insanities [Perversions. Dialogues sur les folies “actuelles”] (Grasset, 1987, Seuil-Points, 2000). This book studies different sorts of perverse scenarios, giving to the notion of perversion a meaning beyond the usual sado-masochism or fetishism up to the terrorist acts. The author also highlights certain phobia and addiction symptoms. · The Hate of Desire [La Haine du Désir] (Bourgeois, 1974; 1994; 2008) introduces the term of l’entre-deux femmes [in-between two women] that allows Sibony to largely approach hysteria. L’entre-deux femmes represents the stage where a woman encounters the Other woman aiming to conquer her feminity and feeling either guilty for taking everything or anguished for losing everything. The father/man can intervene and help or simply throw obstacles. However, the crucial moment concerns the confrontation with the Other woman. This same book studies the obsessive neurosis and the difficulties of transmitting identity.
· The Subconscious Group [Le Groupe inconscient] (C. Bourgeois, 1981) studies the nature of the collective linkage that holds a group together without any Freudian reference to the figure of the father or to the parricide. · The Subconscious Love. Beyond the Principle of Seduction [L’amour inconscient. Au-delà du principe de séduction] (Grasset, 1983) analyses seduction starting from the idea that what seduces us is not necessarily hearing what we would like to hear but being taken away beyond what we hear. To have the feeling that we have acquired something essential. · The Psy People. Present Situation of the Psychoanalysis [Le Peuple “Psy”. Situation actuelle de la psychanalyse] (Balland, 1993, Seuil-Points, 2007) analyses the situation of the psy groups in different schools. It shows how these groups are affected by the subconscious and by the law that governs the human groups themselves. In other words, knowing these laws does not mean it is possible to avoid them. One of the most innovative and famous books of Daniel Sibony is In-Between. Sharing the Origin [Entre-Deux. L’Origine en partage ] (Seuil, 1991; 1998). Sibony starts from the idea that the concept of difference (even written as difference) cannot completely cover the personal and social issues regarding this topic. Consequently, he comes up with the term of in-between, which represents a subtle dynamics where the affects of two opposite poles intermingle. This dynamics in itself plays the role of a third (tiers) in between the two poles. In fact, it connects and separates them creating the space of a game. In other words, let’s think of the child that is in-between two parents. Growing up actually means separating from the in-between but also taking it with him/her. For Sibony, this symbol overcomes the complex of Oedipus. The author uses the term of in-between to develop other ideas such as: identity as in-between, the in-between patient-therapist, traveling and in-between, life and death, image and origin etc., as well as all sorts of intermediate objects, products and spaces. Between Saying and Doing. Thinking Technology [Entre dire et faire. Penser la technique] (Grasset, 1989) is a deep research on technology in general. It also tackles certain practical examples: the media technology, hypnosis, artificial insemination etc. Sibony discusses and clarifies the critical approaches on the subject of technology as pure alienation of humanity. He also dispels the naïve exaltations that see technology as the savior of humanity. The author shows that there are transfers even in technology, namely subconscious affects that intervene in the act of production. There are also “trans-facts” (trans-faire), that is the force to overcome what has already been factored. So, Sibony analyses every technological scenario as a memory supplement and he gets to draw conclusions on therapy techniques. (This book also contains a critique of Heidegger on technology stating the philosopher’s fascination for the Nazism as a holistic social technique). Sibony is also the author of three books entitled Events. Psychopathology of the Present [Evénements. Psychopathologie de l’actuel] that consist of numerous journal and academic articles on social, cultural and artistic topics. Finally, the works of Daniel Sibony can be categorized as follows: · Clinical books (3): The Challenge of Being, Perversions, The Hate of Desire · Books on creation (4): Creation, The Body and The Dance, The Game and the Pass, With Shakespeare · Books on religion (2): The Three Monotheisms, Name of God · Books on the symbolic transmission (7): Biblical Readings, The Anti-Semite Mystery, Psychoanalysis and Judaism, The Racism, an Identity Hate, The Jewish Woman, Pleasures of Saying
· In-Between · On technology: Between Saying and Doing · On love: The Subconscious Love, The Feminin and the Seduction · On topics of actuality: Events I, II, III, The Middle-East, The Mad of Origins · On the relationship between psychoanalysis and writing: The Uncastrable Other, The Name and the Body · On violence: Violence
· The fourth volume of Events entitled Traces of Events that comprises further original articles on various topics. · Marrakech – The Starting Point, an essay on the city of Marrakech of the first thirteen years of life of the writer (before his leaving for Paris). Other books in progress: · The following volume of Biblical Readings · The following volume of the Shakespearian plays · A book on the Body Effects and the relationship of body and spirit based on recent researches · A book on the ethics of being The website of Daniel Sibony: www.danielsibony.com The author’s articles can be consulted on line as well as a brief video presentation of each of his books. Starting September 2008, excerpts of his conferences in video and audio format will also be regularly available on the website. Sources[edit]http://www.danielsibony.fr/

A prolific author and editor, David X Manners wrote hundreds of short stories and dozens of books, ranging from pulp-fiction westerns and detective novels to do-it-yourself guides. A former editor of Popular Science magazine and building editor of House Beautiful magazine, he was also the founder of David X. Manners Company, a public relations agency now based in Westport. Among his books were the mysteries "Dead to the World" and "Memory of a Scream," as well as "The Complete Book of Home Workshops" and "The Great Tool Emporium." His short stories included "Killer's Keeper," which later became the basis of a Humphrey Bogart film, "Conflict." He and his older brother, the late William Manners, also wrote and hosted a "solve the mystery" radio show on WNEW in New York City called, "Isn't it a Crime," in the 1940s. When Writers Digest put together a 75th anniversary hardcover book of the best "how to be a writer" articles it had ever published, "The 10 Deadly Sins", written by Mr. Manners in 1940, was featured alongside articles by Louis L'Amour, Erle Stanley Gardner, Stephen King, Harlan Ellison and Isaac Asimov. In the late 1950s, Mr. Manners wrote an article for Readers Digest that pioneered the concept of vinyl-lined swimming pools. In the mid 1960s, another of his how-to pieces helped introduce the Swedish sauna to the United States. As was his custom, Mr. Manners wrote the pieces as step-by-step accounts of his installation of the pool and sauna in his Norwalk home, which he also designed and built himself. The house, which was designed in a contemporary style that was considered innovative in the early 1950s, was featured numerous times in magazines including House Beautiful. Mr. Manners was entirely self-taught in both design and construction, largely covering the costs of building his home by selling "how-to" articles based on his experience. Most of the tools Mr. Manners used in his construction projects also were donated by manufacturers in exchange for exposure in the resulting books and articles. In the introduction to Mr. Manners's book, "Home Improvements You Can Do," (Fawcett, 1959) his editor, Ray Gillis, wrote: "Dave's own home is a showplace of his competence as a designer and craftsman in wood, stone, tile, and brick. Plumber, mason, carpenter, electrician -- there are few titles he can't rightfully tack after his name. But the quality that distinguishes him above all is his skill in telling other people in clear, easy-to-understand words and pictures, how they can do it themselves." David X Manners died at home of natural causes, at noon on January 26, 2007. Born at noon on February 23, 1912 in Zanesville, Ohio, the son of Rabbi Harris Rosenberg and his second wife, Bertha, he was 94. After earning a B.S. in Botany at the University of Cincinnati and attending Hebrew Union College, he met Ruth Ann Bauer, his wife of 61 years, at the Art Student's League in New York City. Together, the couple traveled to remote parts of the world, immersing themselves in other cultures, which they incorporated into their life together in Norwalk. They sometimes paid for their travels by writing articles about their experiences. History[edit]Big in Japan was the brainchild of Jason Levine, a then staffer for Governor Pataki of New York[21]. Levine formed the club team in the spring of 2006 out of the ashes of his former team, Varying States of Confusion, which disbanded due in part to its aging players and the demands of their personal lives. Looking for a fresh start, Levine took several VSC players with him to form the nucleus that would become Big in Japan. As Big in Japan was taking shape, a new Congressional Softball League was being formed [22] by Anthony Reed [23]. As a player/coach, Levine steered the young team to a 12-6 regular season record for their maiden season [24]. Origins of the team name[edit]The team name is typically pronounced "BIG-IN-jaPAN", but their one-time player/manager Jason Levine called them by the old-fashioned colloquial pronunciation "BIG-uh-IN-JApan". Newspaper writers and other teams in the league also often referred to the team as "B.I.J." during their early days. The impetus behind the "Big in Japan" name is hotly contested. Some fans point to young catcher Kelly Blakemore's burgeoning art career [25] by asking her:
'KB: One piece, to the Japanese Consulate...' 'Unknown: So...you're pretty huge in Japan then?' 'KB: Yeah, you could say that'
Uniform Emblem[edit]Over the past three seasons, the Big in Japan uniform has typically paid homage to their awesomeness to some extent. During the 2006 season, uniforms featured "Big in Japan" spelled out in script across the front while the logo featured a tattooed, snarling, muscle bound pirate. Pitcher Chandler Lockhart had several attempts summarily thwarted as he attempted to change the logo to a sweet, howling wolf. Additionally, the jersey featured the year of team’s inception, 2006. In 2007, the team wore home uniforms with "Big in Japan" spelled out in ghoulish script and a graphic of a young child in the shadow of Godzilla, said to represent "the sleeping demon that is found in everyone and capable of powering us all." Third baseman Andy Levy employed the image in the midst of a lengthy design debate. The 2007 jerseys were red with black logos, scripts, numbers, names and ringers around the neck and sleeves. Jerseys for the 2008 season feature a return to the traditional white jersey with red ringers. The 2008 jerseys also incorporate a design that works on multiple levels- employing the image of a snakehead fish. The snakehead has become an invasive species in the District of Columbia[26] and decimates other species, much like the team [27]. Trivia[edit]Outfielder Stephen Milbank frequently wears eye-black and the maximum number of league approved wristbands. Catcher Erin McCurdy makes frequent trips to the pitchers mound to address eccentric pitcher Chandler Lockhart [28] and "talk him down from the ledge" as the "delicate mechanisms of his sanity/effectiveness are precariously balanced." These visits often end in McCurdy striking Lockhart in the buttocks with her catcher’s mitt. Big in Japan has traditionally utilized a Jewish male at third base. DUNK-O's are a prominent feature at home games. Most famously, in 2006, catcher Erin McCurdy and second basewoman Jillian Carroll performed the infamous Fighting Mermaid Double Dunk-O. Previous gags include a bagpiper hired to perform a tournament “pump-up jam.” Former NCAA Athletes on Big in Japan[edit]Several players on Big in Japan's roster are former NCAA college athletes:
Samantha Dredge - Soccer - West Virginia Wesleyan[30] Kevin Brant - Football - UCLA[31] Matt "Pledge" Miller - Baseball - Cornell[32] Tate Rich - Football - Yale[33] Joe Honce - Baseball - West Virginia Wesleyan[34] Pete "Turbo" Dabrowski - Basketball - Columbia Union College John Diehl - Football - The Catholic University of America[35] Michael Robinson - Football - DePauw University Previous Season Records[edit]2006 – Finished Regular Season Ranked 23rd (of 115 teams) – 12-6 Record [36] 2007 – Finished Regular Season Ranked 42nd (of 123 teams) – 10-6 Record [37] Current roster[edit]

For example, if, income increase 20% and the quantity of a good demanded increased by 40%, the income elasticity of demand would be 40%/20% = 2. (according to the source) The degree to which a demand for a good changes with respect to a change in income depends on whether the good is a “need” or a “want”. The demand for necessities will increase with income, but at a slower rate. This is because consumers, instead of buying more of only the necessity, would want to use their increased income to buy more of a luxury. During a period of increasing income, demand for luxury products tends to increase at a higher rate than the demand for necessities. One thing that determines the price and income elasticity is when “buyers are less price sensitive when the product they are buying is unique or when it is high in quantity, prestige or exclusiveness. They are also less price sensitive when substitute products are hard to find or when they can not easily compare the quantity of substitutes. Finally, buyer are less price sensitive when the total expenditure for a product is low relative to their income or when the cost is shared by another party” (Kotler, 2006) A negative income elasticity of demand is associated with inferior goods, an increase in income will lead to a fall in the quantity demanded and may lead to changes to more luxurious substitutes. A positive income elasticity of demand is associated with normal goods; an increase in income will lead to a rise in the quantity demanded. Factually, if income elasticity of demand of a commodity is less than 1, it is a necessity good. If the elasticity of demand is greater than 1, it is a luxury good. Meanwhile, a zero income elasticity (or inelastic) demand occurs when an increase in income is not associated with a change in the quantity demanded of a good. The income elasticity of demand for a product changes over time as well. The majority of products have a restricted life cycle. Specifically, consumer perceptions of the value and desirability of a good or service is influenced not only by their own experiences of consuming it but also the appearance of new products into the market, meaning, the marketing trend of products have impact on consumers’ nature of purchasing. When these economical terms and concepts applied to practical business industries, they tend to create specific strategies that allow the businesses to use definite means of management in these areas. Precisely, price and income elasticity of airline industries mostly determines their demand and success in the market, however, there are other factors that also affect their market position and value. Airline industry is one of the largest growing industry and market. It is a very intensely competitive market which facilitates the economic growth, world trade, tourism etc. greatly. This is very closely relevant to its profitability. In the world of globalization, airline industry is a major market where it has to be effiecient enough to compete. EasyJet is comparatively very successful in terms of pricing dynamism and income elasticity. It is Europe’s most successful “low-cost, short-haul” airlines which incorporates demand but also sometimes with uncertainty. It operates both domestic and international flights. EasyJet is known as low-cost-carrier because it offers low fares but in exchange for eliminating many traditional passenger services. Basically, strategic implication of pricing theory of EasyJet significantly impacts its customers. In the perception of EasyJet’s industry, it is clear that costs and competition serve a very important role in its market that substantially controls it as well. These are basically two main elements in carrying out a good pricing strategy and customer satisfaction. EasyJet has its own pricing strategy that is used to appeal to its consumers while maintaining sufficient service. Low-price is not always synonymous with bad service, for which, the proper example would be EasyJet. In caring for customers need, it has used extensive advertising and effective public relation by making not only low fares, but also open range of availability. Sometimes in exception, EasyJet tend to adjust fares in accordance with customer’s ability, specially for “last minuit changes”. If the tickets are “under-booked”, EasyJet strategic pricing allows it to balance the price by lowering it just before the flight which significantly facilitates both itself and its customer. Inversely, there are also cases where the lowest fare is offered into the market first and then the prices rise as the departure draws closer and the seats are sold. Therefore, in logical thinking, EasyJet implies different strategies in pricing with profit and effective customer service as well which is in fact is very transparent to them. By giving flexibility, it has increased its demand in the market potentially. Last year however, additional volume of bookings has given Easyjet the confidence to increase its prices, with return flights to popular destinations according to the Distribution News of the Travel Industry. For lowering the fare, it has reduced its cost of distribution as well. The low cost carriers distribute directly for effective management for consumer’s income elasticity by using internet distribution that is time as well as cost efficient. In contrast with Ryanair, EasyJet, technically, has higher fare rate than Ryanair but it competes with it by offering more flexibility in number of flights and its availability. Evidently, then it attracts customers by giving them less limited choices of choosing flight schedules. Another kind of flexibility is offered in the category of tickets. When one-way tickets are only sold by the company, consumers have the option or advantage of buying two one-way tickets which would allow them for short stay trips without having to pay flexible return ticket prices. The availability of flexible flights is very important to business personnel. In other hand, it also offers business-friendly routes meaning more popular routes and destinations that most customers tend to choose, which supports Easyjet in making high increase in its market share. However, EasyJet is shown to have the highest frequency on all their routes also while Ryanair has a larger share of the markets in which they operate. Open skies policy makes all niche carriers focus on customer base demands that are quality service and value for money. EasyJet as a discount airline, develop their pricing strategy targeting consumers to sustain in highly competitive air market. Low cost as a weapon, EasyJet do not segment their market, not for just low-income people also travelers. According to Stuart Cole, “One objective of a transport operator (or in-house transport fleet) is to establish a demand pattern for its service. It also has to relate its prices to the perception and consequent demand of its customers, and derive a pricing policy and a development or operating strategy for the transport operation, which will optimize the use of the fleet”. Lower price attract people, raise their travel demand by air. In the EU market, EasyJet as low cost operator increases its sales by own price elasticity (new passengers) or cross price elasticity (passengers attract from competitor airlines). The quality of service relies on safety, comfort, reliability, convenience, standard of service. All of these act as a stimulus of demand if customers satisfy. “Demand is dependent on the operation of each of these factors and the operator company has to consider continually” (Webster and Bly, 1980). However, sometimes customer make a choice of which they will prefer price or quality. Income is the base element for travel and other business expenditure. If the income increases then the both business and leisure trips will increase. Increasing income also reflects on people’s household buying habit and increasingly likely to travel on summer holiday, long weekends, other holiday seasons like Christmas, leisure trips and winter holidays. Income elasticity is relevant to this topic because if income of customers increases, then their demand of travel would increase as well regardless of the fact that it is necessity or just luxury. In comparison to developing countries like several parts of eastern Asia, developed countries in Europe and in Americas tend to have more people with wide range of income elasticity. For this fact, there are more tourists and travelers seeking to match their need with different airline industries. When EasyJet offers flexible flight schedules, variety of friendly routes and destinations, and most importantly, flexibility in low-cost fare, customers are attracted and satisfied with the service provided. In accordance to it, EasyJet claims “people will fly if the price is right” (HOC, 2002a). Meaning if the cost of air travel matches with consumer’s income elasticity, then they will choose that option over excessive luxury. “The decline in the airline market from the late 1990s was a result of economic downturn and some airlines have closed (eg Swissair); others have reduced jobs and capacity (United, British Airways, Air France) (AB, 2003b)”, (Cole, 2005). Whereas, the increased demand achieved by low cost operators such as Easyjet. Therefore, it is clear that price and income elasticity ties in very closely with Easyjet’s approach of customer service and its own success also. With the concept of own pricing strategy and income elasticity, airline industries create their own management policies. For Easyjet, it includes low fare, flight flexibility and availability, good public relation and customer service, friendly routes etc. As for other airlines such as Ryanair, they set their policy according to their priority, which varies more or less very similarly. In the other hand, BA (British Airways) refuses to cut back special services like in-flight refreshments and business class seats as price reducing sector. They believe that these services are expected by their customers and are important element in keeping their own differentiation with others. Although it is crucial to pay attention to the fact that low prices attracts consumers while giving them wide range of elasticity in their choice, BA preferred to stay, as they were not by converting into low-cost model, but by offering a cheaper option, which differentiated itself through the unique good service. Evidently, individual airline company sets policy and focus according to their own motto where Easyjet utilized the conception of critical economics, income and price elasticity, to meet both the company and customer’s expectation. Setting flexibility to the price and yield management according to the demand and supply, meaning the customers’ capacity of expenditure is crucial to airline business. It is very evident that low cost pricing mechanism used by Easyjet and now being adopted by Ryanair as well is a strategy that can be used to draw passengers into the market with very low fares, and retaining some capacity for some high yielding fares. Relationship with Buffy Summers[edit]Dominic was called due to Buffy's second death and resurrection. This encorporates why the Slayerline is vunerable in 7th season of Buffy. Dominic was called one night when he was walking back home. He fell to his knees then killed a vampire that was following him. Dominic's Uncle Bill, who is a Watcher, found out and sent him to Sunnydale to help Buffy Summers. Dominic goes to Sunnydale and meets her. He comes back to find out that his cousin is a potential Slayer. The next day Buffy arrives on his doorstep with Cameron and her little brother. The Bringers killed her parents, but Buffy saved her. Cameron leaves with Buffy to train with the Potentials. Dominic is later sent again by his Watcher,Amie Carroll, to fight with Buffy at the Hellmouth. Which we all know ends in the calling of all the Potenitals. Post Sunnydale[edit]Dominic wasn't on the bus leaving Sunnydale. He was sent to the Powers that Be before Buffy decided to skedadle. When she was taking a sort of "role call", Dominic wasn't there. So everyone just thought he died. The Powers that Be asked Dominic if he would like to keep his powers. They said he had done what was needed to correct the world. He was no longer needed. He knew what decision all the other Slayers would've made. He was different. He simply said no. A week had gone by since the destruction of Sunnydale. Dominic was shocked and thought everyone died. One night after he had gotten back, he went patrolling. "Might as well do some good." He said. Amie saw him and talked to him. She told him that he needed to be the Slayer again. He had a purpose. The next day he met up with John and Matt. They were happy he was alive. But what would Buffy say? He didn't want to tell Buffy he was alive. He didn't want to interfier. But Amie made him to it anyway. Dominic came back to KC with Cameron and what his status was. He was to be the guardian of the Kansas City Hellmouth and send any new Slayers to Scotland for Buffy. The beginning of the web series starts when he gets back. Non Canonical[edit]Dominic the Vampire Slayer is non-canonical to Buffy the Vampire Slayer strictly in the sense that there has never been a male Vampire Slayer. Bellow are the reason why DTVS is non canonical to BTVS:

Barry Hardy is a semi-retired American professional wrestler and trainer who has competed in North American independent promotions including the East Coast Wrestling Association, Mid-Eastern Wrestling Federation, the National Wrestling Alliance and the World Wrestling Alliance during the 1990s. Hardy also had stints in Extreme Championship Wrestling, World Championship Wrestling and the World Wrestling Federation, most notably as one half of the Lords of Darkness and the second incarnation of The Executioners with Duane Gill from 1989 to 1994. Career[edit]Early career[edit]Born in Rochester, New York, Hardy eventually contacted Larry Sharpe and tried out at Sharpe's Monster Factory wrestling school. Training under Charlie Fulton for a year, he eventually made his professional debut in 1989. On February 15, he also made his WWF debut appearing on WWF Superstars with Barry Horowitz against WWF World Tag Team Champions Demolition (Ax & Smash) at the Broome County Arena in Binghampton, New York. He would appear three more times teaming with Sonny Austin against The Bushwhackers (Bushwhacker Butch & Bushwhacker Luke) in Rochester and losing to the The Ultimate Warrior in Niagra Falls, New York on June 27 and Jake "The Snake" Roberts in Wheeling, West Virginia on October 2, 1989. [1] [2] On October 3, he and Alan Reynolds lost to The Rockers at the Toledo Sports Arena in Toledo, Ohio. [3] Lords of Darkness (1989-1993)[edit]Meanwhile, on the independent circuit, Hardy was initially managed by Larry Sharpe. He later began teaming with Duane Gill as The Lords of Darkness and competed in Mid-Atlantic independent promotions eventually winning the Atlantic States and WWA Tag Team titles. The two would also start the Baltimore Monster Factory. Hack Myers met Axl Rotten while at the wrestling school and, introducing him to promoter Paul Heyman, eventually brought him into Extreme Championship Wrestling. [4] Although Axl Rotten was largely involved in training Meyers, they would be his opponents in his debut match with Colt Starr as The Texas Longhorns in Odenton, Maryland on October 19, 1990. [5] They also began appearing on WWF television, although used as preliminary wrestlers, he and Gill had matches on WWF Primetime Wrestling against the Legion of Doom (Hawk & Animal), The Orient Express, The Rockers (Marty Jannetty & Shawn Michaels) and "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan & Sgt. Slaughter between 1989 and late 1991. On June 5, 1990, he and Gill faced WWF Tag Team Champions Demolition at the War Memorial Auditorium in Rochester, New York. They also faced Rhythm & Blues (The Honky Tonk Man & Greg Valentine) in Hershey, Pennsylvania on August 28. [6] As well as teaming with Gill, Hardy occasionally teamed with different partners such as with Paul Perez against WWF World Tag Team Champions The Hart Foundation (Bret Hart & Jim Neidhart) and with Ross Lindsay against Power & Glory (Hercules & Paul Roma). Hardy also faced a young Shane Douglas at the Onondaga War Memorial in Syracuse, New York on December 23, 1990. The following year, Hardy and Gill defeated Cream Team (Dino Casanova & Rip Sawyer) to become the first MEWF Tag Team Champions on August 2, 1991. In the WWF that year, he also wrestled "Texas Tornado" Kerry Von Erich, Big Bully Busick and WWF Million Dollar Champion Virgil. In March 1992, Hardy appeared at a "Live" St. Patrick's Day special for MCW Wrestling where he and Denny Kass defeated The Nightmares (Danny Davis & Ken Wayne). He also faced "Dirty" Dan Kanareck in a singles match and was pinned after using a neckbreaker. Held at the Continental Cable studios in Madison Heights, Michigan, these matches were later aired on the promotion's weekly television show. [7] During mid-1992, he faced Bret Hart, Crush, Bob Backlund and Lance Cassidy. During his matches with Backlund and Cassidy, Doink played practical jokes on his opponents after the match setting up Backlund to slip on a banana peel and putting a "kick me" sign on Cassidy's ring jacket. When Cassady put the jacket back on after the match, Doink kicked him. Hardy later appeared in single matches against Tatanka and "British Bulldog" Davey Boy Smith on WWF Superstars and teamed with Kato of the Orient Express losing to The Bushwhackers on May 5, 1992. He and Gill also participated in two of three 40-man battle royals held that year. The first, on June 2, included Money Inc. (Ted DiBiase & IRS), The Nasty Boys (Brian Knobbs & Jerry Saggs), The Beverly Brothers (Beau & Blake Beverly) and High Energy (Koko B. Ware & Owen Hart) as well as Sgt. Slaughter, Bret Hart, British Bulldog, Virgil, Tito Santana, Rick Martel, "The Texas Tornado" Kerry Von Erich, Skinner, Repo Man, Jim Powers, Jim Brunzell, Glen Ruth, Phil Apollo, Barry Horowitz, Bobby Star, Dublin Destroyer, Rick Johnson, Al Hunter, Bob Knight, Rick Danger, Jerry Davis, Scott Antonio, Tony Ulysses, Bruce Mitchell, Joe Milano and several others. The battle royal was later featured on WWF Rampage '92. The second battle royal took place two months later. He and Gill (as The Executioners) took part in a 40-man battle royal won by Tatanka and which included Tito Santana, Bret Hart, Sgt. Slaughter, Col. Mustafa, Shawn Michaels, Crush, Kerry Von Erich, Virgil, Skinner, Repo Man, Barry Horowitz, Jim Powers, Brooklyn Brawler, Reno Riggins, Dale Wolfe, Brian Costello, Chuck Casey, Dom Jones, Burt Spears, Thor Anderson, Tom Cumberland, Mark Kordis, Legion of Doom, Money Inc. (Ted DiBiase & IRS), The Beverly Brothers (Beau & Blake Beverly), The Nasty Boys (Brian Knobbs & Jerry Saggs), High Energy (Koko B. Ware & Owen Hart) and The Natural Disasters (Earthquake & Typhoon). The battle royal was the first and largest held in WWF history and was later profiled in WWF Magazine. These were considered the largest battle royals held at a professional wrestling event until the introduction of the annual three ring 60-man battle royal at World War 3 three years later. [8] He made his last WWF appearances on WWF Primetime losing to Davey Boy Smith on September 28 and Bret Hart on October 5, 1992. [9] On January 23, 1993, Hardy and Gill lost the WWA Tag Team titles to ECW Tag Team Champions The Super Destroyers in an interpromotional event between the World Wrestling Alliance and Eastern Championship Wrestling at the Radisson Hotel in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, [10] they briefly regained the titles before losing them to Chris Candido & Chris Evans and left for the WWF shortly after. The Executioners (1992-1994)[edit]Main article: The Executioners (professional wrestling)
He and Gill would begin wrestling in the World Wrestling Federation as The Executioners in early 1993. On March 9, only three days after losing their tag team titles, he and Gill also made an appearance as Timmy & Tommy Turtle at the sold-out Augusta Civic Center with 8,000 in attendance. Their match was later taped for WWF Challenge. In singles matches, Hardy faced Tito Santana in his last WWF television appearance and was pinned by Santana in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania on July 6, 1993. [11] He wrestled against Tatanka, Jim Duggan, Virgil, Mr. Perfect, [12] and Razor Ramon as well as teaming with Reno Riggins, the Brooklyn Brawler, Bert Centeno and Barry Horowitz. Appearing on Monday Night Raw throughout the year, he and Gill would face The Steiner Brothers (Rick & Scott Steiner), The Quebecers (Jacques & Pierre) and Men on a Mission (Mo & Mabel). [13] [14] They had previously faced Men on a Mission in their WWF debut on WWF Challenge several months before. [15] before splitting up with Gill in early 1994. Prior to their breakup, they also faced the The Rock 'n' Roll Express (Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson) in a non-sanctioned match for the SMW Tag Team Championship at a special co-promotional event hosted by the WWF. Hardy himself soon left the WWF after losing to The Steiner Brothers in a tag team match with Mike Khoury on April 18, 1994. World Wrestling Federation & World Championship Wrestling[edit]Hardy returned to the WWF for a short time facing The Bushwhackers, The Headshrinkers (Samu & Fatu) and The Smoking Gunns (Bart & Billy Gunn) with various tag team partners before leaving in late 1994. During this time, he also wrestled single matches against Davey Boy Smith and Jim Neidhart. [16] Early the next year, Hardy appeared in World Championship Wrestling with he and Marcus Watson taking on then WCW United States Champion Big Van Vader in a handicap match at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida on February 5, 1995. Later that month, he and Scott Armstrong faced Colonel Robert Parker's Stud Stable (Bunkhouse Buck & "Dirty" Dick Slater) on February 25. Two months later, Hardy faced Meng at the Center Stage Theater in Atlanta, Georgia and was knocked out in 39 seconds after a superkick. [17] On May 13, Hardy teamed with Chris Speaker and lost to Stars & Stripes (Marcus Alexander Bagwell & The Patriot) on WCW Saturday Night. He also continued making appearances for independent promotions including Mid-West Championship Wrestling losing to Kuku the Wild Samoan at the Lincoln Park Community Center in Lincoln Park, Michigan on June 10, 1995. [18] Extreme Championship Wrestling and the independent circuit[edit]Returning to the United States, Hardy wrestled for Extreme Championship Wrestling during the summer facing Mikey Whipwreck in Buffalo, New York on July 27, 1997. [19] He also teamed with Super Nova against The Dudley Boys (Bubba & D-Von Dudley) on August 2 [20] and later faced Super Nova in a single match later that month. [21] [22] In early 2000, he began wrestling for the National Wrestling Alliance and soon won the NWM Heavyweight Championship defending the title against some of the top wrestlers on the independent circuit including his former tag team partner Duane Gill and Killer Kowalski, Jr., the son of Killer Kowalski, [23] whom he defeated in a no-holds-barred street fight. He made his last appearance in 2002 and, as of 2006, Hardy remains inactive in professional wrestling. Championships and accomplishments[edit]
