Frank was President of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for a six years, a board member of the MPAA for eight, and is currently a Vice Chairman and Executive Board Member of the American Film Institute. In early 1994, Frank spearheaded the “Information Superhighway Summit,” a conference that drew many of the most influential executives in the media world — including then-FCC chairman Reed Hundt, as well as Barry Diller, Michael Eisner, Bill Gates, Robert Iger, Robert Johnson, Quincy Jones, Jeffrey Katzenberg, John Malone and Rupert Murdoch — to hear keynote speaker Vice President Al Gore discuss the expanding 500-television-channel universe and new technologies such as the internet. In April 2003, Frank founded Integrated Entertainment Partners (IEP). In 2004, Rich was named Chairman of the Board, The Firm, when IEP was merged into the high-profile management company. With clients ranging from Cameron Diaz, Martin Scorsese, to Snoop Dogg and Korn, The Firm was launched in 1997 by Jeff Kwatinetz. In 2007, the Television Academy awarded Frank the Syd Cassyd Founders Award. The Award is named in honor of the Television Academy’s founder, and was created to recognize members who have made a significant positive impact on the Academy. The Award has been bestowed only seven times in the history of the Academy. Frank currently owns a vineyard in Napa Valley, Frank Family Vineyards and sits on the boards of eco-friendly goods firm TerraCycle and mobile marketing and advertising venture The Hyperfactory. Pedro de la Plesa (fl. 1622) was a 17th century Spanish privateer. He served alongside Dunkirkers in the service of Spain during the Eighty Years' War. He and Juan Garcia accompanied Captain Jan Jacobsen in his final battle against the Dutch Republic, he and his Spanish comrade leaving Jacobsen to his fate. Biography[edit]In October 1622, he left from Duinkerken along with Juan Garcia and Jan Jacobsen in an attempt to break through the enemy blockade. However, de la Plesa was immediately sighted by a passing Dutch yacht as he sailed out of Oostende. The ship's captain, Jacob Volckertzoon Vinck, cut his mooring lines and sailed out to a nearby fleet under Admiral Harman Kleuter. Being informed of the Dunkirkers activities, he set out after them at once. He was later joined by another squadron from Den Briel under the command of Captain Lambert Hendrikszoon. As the combined fleet appeared, the two Spaniards realizing they were outnumbered chose to retreat. Heading for England, Jan Jacobsen chose to fight the nine pursuing warships. Weither Jacobsen had decided to make a final stand or to protect the retreat of Juan Garcia and Pedro de la Plesa is uncertain, however he died in the ensuing battle. [1] References[edit]

Juan Garcia (fl. 1622) was a 17th century Spanish privateer. He was among several other Spaniards who worked with Dunkirkers in the service of Spain during the Eighty Years' War. Both he and Pedro de la Plesa were caught by the Dutch Republic in a failed attempt to break through the imposed blockade at Dunkirk, he and de la Plesa leaving Captain Jan Jacobsen to face nine pursing Dutch warships. Biography[edit]In October 1622, he and Pedro de la Plesa left Duinkerken with Jan Jacobsen attempting to break through the blockade imposed on the city by the Dutch Republic. However, a Dutch yacht spotted Pedro de la Plesa as he sailed out of Oostende. The ship's captain, Jacob Volckertzoon Vinck, immediately sailed to a small fleet stationed nearby. Its commander, Admiral Harman Kleuter, set off after the blocade runners at once and was later joined by another squadron under Captain Lambert Hendrikszoon. Garcia and Pedro de la Plesa fled instantly upon encountering the fleet, however Jacobsen stayed behind to fight the nine pursuing warships. Both because of his heroic stand, as well as allowing his Spanish allies to escape to England, Jacobsen and his crew became a national hero. [2] References[edit]

AOU is an Islamic university offering undergraduate and graduate studies through distance learning, based on the amanah (trust) to spread Islamic knowledge based on the Qur'an and the Sunnah of the Prophet (saw), in the framework of mainstream Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jama’a. We utilize contemporary methods of distance education to provide the next best thing to direct learning. In order to have a solid foundation, the development of the university has been undertaken in small but secure steps, and to date hundreds of students from America and around the world have benefited from studying with us. AOU was established in May 1995, and opened its doors to students in January of 1996 to a mere 147 students. Alhamdulillah the total enrollment for this current semester (Spring 2002), is 540 students. While most of our students are in the United States, we currently serve students from 25 different countries. Understanding Distance Education
The textbooks for distance education are designed in a specific way, supported by audio and videotapes and CDs, in order to facilitate the students’ study at home, as well as to help them to pursue their studies with speed and ease. Students are able to contact their instructors, who take the role of tutors to facilitate the studies, by fax, email and other communication methods. They are also encouraged to make direct contact with them by phone during set office hours, in order to have their questions answered and discuss their coursework, as well as for their final semester exams. The Aims of the American Open University
To break down the barriers to gaining Islamic knowledge, that are caused by time and space, by bringing education directly into people’s homes.
To cooperate with other Islamic universities in keeping sound Islamic knowledge alive.
To teach Islamic studies at graduate and undergraduate levels based on authentic knowledge, and supervised by internationally respected instructors.
To contribute to the dissemination of authentic Islamic literature that encourages moderation and avoids innovation.
To develop the understanding of Islam and the Islamic civilization in the West by maintaining an Islamic identity and conducting affairs accordingly.
To relate Islamic studies to the present by discussing solutions to contemporary issues, with particular reference to the Western world.
To develop state-of-the-art distance education materials and tools to enhance student’s understanding and learning.
To provide an educational system that promotes the synthesis of Islamic values and academic knowledge, which encourages the development of an Islamic personality with a high standard of morals and wisdom.
To foster the academic skills of the students to enable them to be able to impart their knowledge effectively, and to compete successfully in contemporary society. Sources[edit]www.aou.edu 75.45.165.171 (talk) 15:25, 26 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This young magician started his career as one section of the infamous duo Aces High, who later became the influence and idea behind Engano Productions. Together Engano and Ace ruffled many feathers in the magic world, even being barred from Soho Tricks, the UK’s most reputable magic venue. A feat no other magic act has yet to achieve! Influenced by his early work with his friend and colleague ACE (the greatest cardshark that has ever lived) Engano Prodcutions was born, where Magic, Mystery and Mayhem ensued. Originally set up to perform comedy stage magic and illusion, they have grown rapidly and now provide help and support to up-and-coming magicians giving advice with illusions, providing workshops, advice on script writing etc. The list is endless. Engano is not a conventional magician, having plied his trade with professional gamblers, developing scams and card fleeces across the UK he later took this work to the stage. Obviously, modifying the scams to friendlier, personable routines and illusions he later developed his famous water casket, fire in the hole, heart attack, hung, drawn and quartered to showcase across the UK and into Europe. Engano has performed his magic at a range of events including Party in the Park, BBC TV, S4C, The Grand, Soho Tricks, Edinburgh Festival, V Festival, Tesco Childrens Festival, Ministry of Sound, Levi Jean Co, Lambett & Butler, Cadburys, The Savoy, Hilton Hotels and other unsavoury establishments! Engano Productions reputation is growing, not only in the UK but further a field into Sweden, Germany, Portugal, Spain and France.

He is currently changing his look. He went from skinny bastard to skinny-fat bastard. He squats impressive 250 lbs at 150lb bodyweight and don't bother asking about other lifts. He flexes, and looks like a 2 dimensional doughboy. He is the biggest fag I know.
