Biography[edit]Willis Adcock was born in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec, Canada on November 25, 1922. He went to grade school in Clarenceville, Quebec. He "emigrated" to the United States in 1936 to live with his uncle so that he could attend high school in Champlain, New York (Clarenceville did not have a high school at the time)[1]. He attended Hobart College where he obtained a B.S. in Math and Chemistry in 1944. Adcock received his United States citizenship After graduating Adcock joined the Army where he became a technical staff member in the Clinton Laboratories in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. While in the Army, he applief for and received United States citizenship and he was a member of the team that developed the atomic bomb. He left the Army in 1948 to pursue his Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry at Brown University[2]. He had a brief stint as a technical staff member for Stanolind Oil and Gas Company in Tulsa, Oklahoma (later known as Pan American Oil Co., later still part of Amoco)[3], before becoming manager of development at the Integrated Circuits Department at Texas Instruments, in Dallas, Texas. At Texas Instruments, he grew silicon boules for construction of the first silicon transistor, he later assisted with the development of the first silicon integrated circuits built at TI[4]. He left Texas Instruments for a year in 1964 to work as technical director for Sperry Semiconductor in Norwalk, Connecticut, but returned to TI in 1965 as manager of advanced planning and technical development. He was later assistant vice president and finally vice president of corporate staff from 1982 until his retirement from TI in 1986[2]. After retiring from TI Adcock moved to Austin, Texas and became a professor of electrical and computer engineering at the University of Texas at Austin where he contributed articles to professional journals and developed a novel SEMATECH Research Center of Excellence at the University. Adcock was a fellow of the I.E.E.E. and A.A.A.S., and was a member of the National Academy of Engineering, the American Chemical Society and Sigma XI. He was a Phi Beta Kappa Principal Fellow of the Texas Institute. Adcock was awarded an honorary degree from Hobart College in 1989[2]. He also provided oral commentary for an Electronic Watch exhibit at the Smithsonian Institution[5]. Adcock was awarded patents for the first electronic photography system (originally filed in 1972, patents 4057830 and 4163256 were awarded in 1976 and 1977)[6]. Adcock most recently received a government patent for his Gyroscopic Torque Converter in 2003[2] [7]. Adcock married his college sweetheart, Eleanor Goller (William Smith College class of 1944). They had four children before Eleanor passed away in 1970. He was remarried to Sara McCoy Wooden-Adcock. His son Edward graduated from Hobart College in 1971. Adcock passed away on December 16, 2003 in Austin, Texas[2]. Sources[edit]See also[edit]

Rejoice in the Lord was published as a new hymnal for The Reformed Church in American and as a companion to the worship directory: Liturgy and Psalms. It was edited by the prominant Reformed hynologist of the 20th century, Erik Routley, and was published after his death. The book was widely praised by musicologists for its quality, thoughfulness, and in fact boldness. [1] Nonetheless, the book is notable for a number of reasons. It has a bold simplistic table of contents ordered along short biblical statemnets: Part I: The God of Abraham Praise; Part II: Behold the Lamb of God; Part III: Spirit of Truth, Spirit of Power; Part IV: The Hope of Glory. This is contrast to other Presbyterian and Reformed hymnals which have organized in terms of catalogs of God'd person and attributes, and finally faith issues, as well as with Lutheran and Anglicanc hymnals which have focussed on the Christian Year. The editor made sure to included hymns include a more complete rendering of the original than has come into common use. Therein, the singer learns which versus of Amazing Grace were and were not actually written by John Newton, for example. This in addition to a well balanced inclusion of ancient, medieval, Genevan and Scottish Psalter, 19th Century English, Early American, and Lutheran Chorale offerings. So called "praise music" was somewhat less well represnted. As such, this Hymnal proved clearly more acceptable to the more liturgically minded strain of the RCA, found primarily in the East, than it was among the more evangelically minded strains more dominant in the mid and far west. Routley used a rather pragmatic and theologically disciplined approach to inclusive language: where it could be used while retaining both the literary and theological integrity of the hymn it was used. Where it could not be, the editors graciously marked the hymn with a "dagger" to alert the senstative conscience that potentally troubling words were ahead. It's use of inclusive language to desribe God was somehwat more restrained overall. In spite of its musical, liturgical, and theological merits, it does not appear that Rejoice in The Lord was embraced by many congrgations, in the RCA or Elsewhere Recent RCA surveys of worship have shown that fewer than 10% of congregations use the book today. It's use in other denominations is less well known. A variety of projects have been adopted to supplant Rejoice in the Lord. Most recently, the RCA and its cousin denomination, the Christian Reformed Church agreed to collaborate on a new hymnal.

"They may say they want one [similar to another seen online]," says Jeff Mason, CEO of VertiCity. "Or they want two pieces of software integrated." Mason, who spent 30 years at IBM (NYSE:IBM) prior to launching VertiCity, encourages buyers to write multiphased requests for proposal (RFPs) rather than a single, million-dollar bid. Similarly, VertiCity's sellers, its developer fleet, typically package their work in chunks, "so both parties get money flowing in increments," he says. "I think we would go back [to VertiCity's services]," says Sachin Chaudhry, principal of StudentOnline.com, a New York start-up that offers a Web-based application for college faculty and students. VertiCity led StudentOnline.com to Astata, a company that develops and hosts wireless applications. Astata wrote a wireless component for StudentOnline.com's application so that users can access the site with handheld devices such as PDAs or a cell phone. "We got something like 30 bids, and we filtered out the bids that were potentially way too high [in cost]," Chaudhry says. "From five or six bids, we narrowed it down to one. [The choice] was a little price-conscious, but we also had a deadline for when we needed to roll out the application, the fall semester," he adds. VertiCity hires developers from outside the United States to work on retainer for U.S. companies, Mason says. Roughly half of the company's stable of developers live and work in Asia, he says. "The [overseas] person that we would charge [customers] $2,000 a month for probably has eight to 10 years of experience and a master's in computer science," Mason says, adding that an American with those credentials could command as much as $8,000 per month, or nearly $100,000 annually. VertiCity is not the first exchange to focus on matching buyers and sellers of IT services. Ajunto, ITsquare and other newcomers are tapping the potentially lucrative vein as well. Sources[edit]

The ISM3 is developed by the ISM3 consortium. The actual ISM3 standard is licensed under a Creative Commons attribute-no derivatives license and is thus free to use in corporate environments.[1] The ISM3 consortium also offers mappings between ISM3, CMMI and COBIT maturity and capability levels, as well as a comparison between ISM3 and ISO27001[2]. The ISM3 consortium itself also notes that the ISM3 model is intended especially to leverage existing ISO9001 quality management work in organizations to information security management[3], even if the said organization doesn't already have a specific framework for information security management per se.

The processes are then evaluated against the goals of information security management, which are based on a trade-off between absolute security and business requirements. From this trade-off the following information security management goals are derived from, towards which processes should always contribute:
Publicity and references[edit]The ISM3 model is a new but emerging model, referenced by organizations such as the IT Compliance Institute[4], Veridion[5]. It is also being increasingly referenced in community sources such as the ISMS guide blog[6], the UNDP International Open Source Network[7] and the IT toolbox community web site[8]. The ISM3 consortium states that their goal is to publish the ISM3 as a formal national or international standard[9]. The ISM3 model is referenced in at least the following academic peer-reviewed publications:

Federal Public Service[edit]The Brazilian Federal Public service is regulated by the Federal Law 8112, which established the Single Legal Scheme (Regime Juridico Unico, RJU). There are two categories of servants, the effectives and the commissioned. Appliance[edit]The candidates to the effective civil service must apply to a written examination. Practical examinations and the presentation of Academic Awards may also be required. The candidates are classified conform the final grades, which the calculation is generally the aritimetical sum of the grades of each written exam (generally Portuguese Language, Mathematics, Computer Operation, Logical Reasoning and Laws) and award examination (Points are attributted conform the degree of the presented awards). The higher in the classificatory list are nominated, conform the number of vacancies available for the function. The remaining classified may be nominated when new vacancies became available (due to death, retirement, or voluntary termination). The Classificatory list is generally valid during 2 years, and may be extended for more 2 years. After the expiration, the candidates from the list cannot be nominated. Probational Period and Stability[edit]After the nomination, the new Civil Servant is subjected to the probational period. During two years, the servant is evaluated by the immediate chief twice a year. The grades may vary from 0 to 100 and must be 70 or higer to the servant be approved in the probation. After the period, the approved servant is considered stable and The non-approved are dismissed. A stable servant may not be dismissed, except due to judged sentence or disciplinar administrative proccess. Commisioned servants[edit]The commissioned servants are nominated by public authorities. The nominated may be effective public servants or any other citizen. The probational period and the stability are not applied to these servants. Public Service in cities and states[edit]The Public Civil Service in Brazilian states and cities is regulated by state and municipal laws, but adopt similiar procedures for appliance. The Beginners are a popular folk and gospel choir band consisting of 3 brothers from the farmland. The band are not altogether dissimilar to Hanson and have a lead drummer that considers himself the new young one from Hanson constantly singing Mmmm Bop. The Beginners have played a variety of gigs including The White Hart and already have 2 top 10 hits, a record deal and will be appearing on The X Factor soon. Other Points of Interest The lead drummer looks like Tony Blair, and that bloke from The Office. Before we begin lets get some knowledge on what you will be looking at. Light Brown : Pot Outline Green thick Lines : Main Stem Small Thin Lines with Green Balls on top : Fan leafs Yellow Lines : Side Branches Red : Tiedown Metal Hooks (or thread whichever item you use, i use Hooks its easier) The Text in the box : First digit is Step No. and Second Digit is Pot Size, below the numbers is the type of view your looking at (either from the SIDE or from the TOP)
Please note, you dont have to do it this way, its just the idea of how to do LST, this is the way i did it and you can see the end result of 4 weeks of growth this way in my signature picture where it says FIM/LST. Some may opt to use the eggcrate method where you utilize an eggcrate around the pot and tie it down to that with zipties instead of using string or hooks running from the pot itself... this way you can cover more square footage and maximize your yield even more. Ok heres the STEPS PICTURE for you to follow along with. File:Http://i13.tinypic.com/2mm7f9u.jpg STEP 1 : Grow your plant from Seed or Clone to 3 or 4 leaf sets, some use 5 but i always use 3 because after 3rd leaf set the main stem starts to harden and it will be harder to bend over your plant properly without breaking the main stem. STEP 2 : Using a metal hook (i cut small sections of cloths hanger and bend a U shape at the end as a hook) bend over your plant with metal hook at the last internode (space between the last set of fanleafs and the next to last) and stick the metal hook into your dirt to hold down the stem. STEP 3 : This is really not a step, just waiting time... Take note of how the top of the plant that was bent down will bend back upwards towards the light, this could take anywhere from 3 hours to 1 day. Under my 1000 Watt Metal Halide light it does it in under 3 hours. STEP 4 : Veg and dont tie down until you have a new leaf set. You will notice Side branching has started already because good light is getting to the main stem areas next to each fanleaf stem intersection with the main stem. STEP 5 : Depending on your starting pot size you may have to transplant. If you started out with a large pot, repeat step 2 over and over again holding the main stem down with hooks until you reach the end of the pot. In this illustration to save time and drawings, i started out with a small pot and it reached the end of the pot after the first tiedown. I repotted it into a 10 inch pot which will be my final pot size for this plant in order for me to continue the LST Bends around the inside edge of the pot. STEP 6 : Now that your new leaf set has formed you have enough length in growth since the first bend(s) to allow you to start bending the stem horizontally around the inside edge of the pot. Use metal hooks again to keep this bend in place. Side branches should be coming along very nicely. STEP 7 : Continue repeating steps 4 and 6, allowing the plant to grow and then keep tieing it down along the inside edge of pot using metal hooks (or whatever your using) Side branches should be forming and growing up towards the light. STEP 8 : Continue to repeat step 7 until you are all the way around the pot... when you reach the point where your plant first met the edge of the plant Top the plant (cut off the very top of the plant ) and hold it down horizontally with a metal hook.... During all this time of repeating step 7 you should also be tieing down horizontally the new branches that have formed from the main stem as much as possible until you use up as much space as possible inside the pot as well , the outter branches growing over the outside edge of the pot you can hold down as well with string to keep those tops even with the inner branches. STEP 9 : After you have used up all possible space inside the pot (or your eggcrate) its time to just let it flower.. This is a side view of how it will and should look by that time with all the side branches growing upwards towards the light.... these will all become Collas unlike a non LST plant will only have one colla. During flowering and even before due to lack of light on the main stem fan leafs which is all the way to the bottom almost against the soil those fanleafs will die off anyways, i usually cut these off the main stem right after the branch has grown out in that area, keeps things neat down below where you will need good airflow during flowering.. so go ahead and take off any fanleafs coming off the main stem that is going around the inside edge of the pot. Set your timer to 12/12 and watch it bloom There is no Step 10 in the picture but we all know what that is HARVEST!!! Sho-Tai[edit]Sho-Tai is a method of testing the body using electrical impulses. It was developed by Canadian Terry Bell. Testers touch the body on or near a reflex point to determine whether or not an organ or gland is working properly. Based on this information the testers can determine what herbs to suggest to get the body working properly again. You can become a Sho-Tai tester by signing up for one of Terry Bell's classes. Products suggested by the Sho-Tai practioner[edit]The herbs suggested come from Terry Bell's company, Wild Vineyard. Health Canada has issued an advisory on December 28th, 2007 warning people not to use the herbs due to a potential health risk. "Products made by Wild Vineyard have not been manufactured according to Health Canada's good manufacturing practices. Failure to manufacture products by standards and practices for quality assurance, product testing, manufacturing, storage, and distribution of natural health products could affect the quality of the natural health products. Health Canada has evidence that some products contain heavy metal contamination with substances such as lead, and inappropriate labelling." Health Canada advises people who have used these products to contact their health practitioners with concerns. allyATL and ChriATL[edit]allyATL is a well known typical scene girl with a bad attitude and fake hair. However, Why is there all thishype about her? She goes to my school and mostly none of the girls have anything nice to say about her. Boys however are a different story..Her and her "LIEK BFF" ChriATL can be found with a group of different people every weekend. Personally, i think this ATL shit is getting out of hand and should stop. Who gives a shit about two Scene kids?
