jadgal urdu جدگالis a tribal confederacy of balochistan IRAN,PAKISTAN.actually these are the homogeneous peoples who dont have a simmiler ethnicty.these are the peoples of baloch race who belongs to the diffrent baloch tribes many of them have baloch and many have brohi origin for example ladkis of iran considerd to be rind or hout ,sabra are basically of jam tribe but some of them claim that they are originelly from hout or raes tribe, wadeyla are considerd to be brohi mengal (shahi zai) tribe but some of them claim to be hout or rind. there is alot of misconceptions present about these peoples some says that they are originelly hindus who were the earlier inhabbitant of balochistan before the arrival of baloch tribe into the balochistan.some says these are the earlier or oldest baloch tribes of kirman and makuran.difrent baloch writers and historians wrote a lot about them but non of them is agree on a single point about their origin.majoirty of them speak a language which is consider as sindhi which is called jadgali.there are a number of jadgals are presents in dashtiari, bahu, kalarshak(sindh),konkar(kohane kaor),lasbela, turbat, gwadar, pasni, karachi, oman, uae.Sub tribes of this confedracy are sabraor sahibrah, ladki, wadeyla, shahbek zai, oomarani, bijar zai, numar, meer, sada zai or sadar zai (tribal cheif of jadgals Meer Hameedullah Jadgal) belongs to this tribe lives in kocho dashtiari of iranian part of balochistan. whereas some of historians says that The Mengals, Bizanjos and Zehris, the three largest Brahui tribes, are called Jadgal or Jagdal. ulfat naseem wrote in his book BROHI KOUN (who are the brohis) that the jadgals are orginelly from dashtiari, iran and were known in the baloch history as dashtiari baloch these are the earliest peoples of balochistan and belong to the oldest baloch tribes some of them are raes, hout, rind, mengal, jam.Look at the last part of many jadgal sub clans like bijar zai, shahbek zai, omar zai, the word zai is used only by baloch and pakhtoons or pathansas a sub tribe or clan.the word zai indicates their anccestor like bijar zai means grandsons of bijar.no other nation or peoples except baloch and pakhtoon uses zai for their tribes names. jadgals were known after the war between the brohi and jadgal tribes in bagbana and kachhi region in 17th century.which is called brohi jadgal jang and at the end of this war brohi propeled them outside the region of kalat to lasbela and karachi. Another conflict between the houts and the jadgal invader tribes in bahu in 18th century. thesedays Meer Hamidullah jadgal(dashtiari). Meer Mubarak Wadeyla (pasni makuran). Hussain Wadeyal belongs to National Party of Balochistan Ali Akbar Wadeyla president of Balochistan National Party (MENGAL) of pasni area are from the jadgal confederacy.
