Mike Buday is a Californian man who decided with his fiancee that he would take her last name after they got married. He recently filed a discrimination lawsuit against the state of California claiming that the difficulty of changing names for a male after marriage violates the equal protection clause of the 14th Amendment.

Omar Al-Moktar (Lion of the Desert)

A freedom fighter that resisted the Italian occupation for Libya (from the occupation start in 1911 till his execution in 1931). By using very smart tactics, and despite his very primitive resistant means and the Italian advanced weaponry, Omar Al-Moktar was able to fight the occupying Italian forces for more than 20 years. On September 16, 1931, Omar was hanged by the invading Italians in front of Libyan kids, women, and men at the age of 73 after an unfair trial.

Bobby Sandhu is an artist of many talents from Punjab, India. He is most known for his pencil portraits, though he has command on almost all art forms, both traditional and digital. In Punjab he is more known as a TV personality as he has been hosting the longest running Live Dial-In show by the name of Dial - E -Punjab, in the history of Punjabi Television.

Biography

Bobby was born on 29th May, 1981 in Bathinda (Punjab), India. He finished his school as an average kid with lower then usual achievements (which he usually refers to now as his “Bullied Age’). Even the High School was nothing more then a disaster for him, but everything changed when he moved to Barjindra College, Faridkot for Graduation in Humanities. His interests in Theater and Fine Arts led him to participate in University level competitions and he created numerous records and won numerous medals. He made a name in Mimicry, collage and poster making at state level in 3 years of his graduation. His achievements included three year straight champion in Mimicry and collage making in Punjabi University,. Patiala (which actually extended to 5 years as he won again while he completed his Post Graduation in English Literature). By the time he finished his Studies in the University he had already established records of winning most gold medals in the history of Punjabi University, Patiala (amounting to near 50). Moreover he did it all being the youngest artist.

Apart from his cultural activities, he also made his name in studies as he ranked first in the University in both Graduation and Post Graduation. Immediately after he finished his Post Graduation that he majored in English Literature, he got a job as a lecturer of English at P.M.N. College, Rajpura. He also started research on Popular Selected Broadway Plays (1945-2000): A postmodern Perspective. After one year at the college, he resigned from the job as he found it very boring and decided to pursue his artistic interests.

Traditional and Digital artist

After he left the job, he started drawing with pencils more extensively then ever. He never learnt anything from anyone when it comes to traditional drawings. As a self taught artist he soon made a name for himself as one of the most proficient pencil artist of the country. Later he made an international breakthrough when he joined the largest online art community DevaintArt at www.bobbyrock.deviantart.com He is mostly known for his state of the art automobile portraits. His gallery has some amazing cars and bikes drawn with pencils. His gallery also includes Pencil portraits of Hollywood celebrities, out of which his 3 piece Jolie Pencil Series is a must see.

Apart from pencil portraits, he also has many water and oil color, cartoons and caricatures, collage and winamp skins to his credit. The most notable are the Winamp Skins, as he is the only known Traditional pencil artist making Winamp Skins (recognized by Winamp.com).

Lately he started teaching himself the digital softwares and soon he launched his works done in Adobe Photoshop, Corel photo-Paint and Draw. His digital works display a great control over his strokes, especially when he claims to never have used a tablet. More then Photoshop skills he extended his hand into vectors and excelled into Adobe Macromedia Flash as his gallery now showcases great works of Vector Art. He also learnt web designing on his own and his latest shock was his website, that he designed on his own and launched on 26th November, 2006. www.bobbysandhulive.com is a hardcore flash website and is Bobby’s first attempt at a website. An HTML version of the site is also expected soon. As of now he has launched himself into 3D graphics and is expected to come out with 3D works soon.

Professionally he takes commissions for pencil portraits, winamp skins, digital graphics and web designs. His work has been featured in many Indian Magazines as he is getting more popular everyday.

Television

As Bobby’s love for Fineart grew fruits, he also excelled in the field of stage as he started doing Dial-E-Punjab, a show at Zee Punjabi, the biggest Punjabi channel. The show is recorded Live and is telecasted all over the world every Saturday Night. The show focuses on talking on the phone and playing the songs in between. In two years Bobby has earned his name as the most natural performer on TV. During his two years on TV he did many events wit the biggest names of the Punjabi Music Industry with great success. But Bobby wishes not to be known for what he does on TV, but what he does with pencils and computers.

Mainerio (c1550 - 1582) was an Italian composer.

He sang at Udine cathedral until 1570 before changing to the Aquileia cathedral. He made maestro di cappella at Aquileia in 1578.

His Primo libro di balli of 1578 is one of the few Italian dance collections of the period.

The Derby Unibus is a bus company in the city of Derby. The Buses run to and from the University of Derby. They are easily recognisable because of their livery. It is normally a white and green bus. It is normally quite new, with normally a "N" registerd number plate. They can also be used for the local schools, Saint Mary's RC school and Saint Benedict RC school. This is however extremly easily recogisable

Erik Ryll is the only living Pokemon. He's Pokemon name is Eryll, pronounced "Earl." He is one of the rarest legendary Pokemon. He has a large points but a slow attack speed. He regains health by using Rest. His first attack is Rage. Eryll's rage builds quickly. Eryll can be found in the Morgan 4 Cave. One must use a Master Ball to catch the wild Eryll. This is the only way for Eryll to be caught.

Philadelphia Stickers, are sticky pieces of paper, with printed or hand drawn images that are put up on newspaper boxes, signs, and other surfaces. Theact of putting up stickers is illegal, however less severe then the act of spray-painting, or other types of graffiti. One of the first stickers to become popular in Philadelphia is EM3, a simply drawn sticker with just words. Following EM3 in 2003 Bob, and El Toro began to make stickers. They had large sucess and became very popular. Soon after Paro began, and then at some point Nose. After Nose, Fingaz and Frog began, these stickers formed a coaltion known as NBC, standing for many things mainly Nothing But Character. In early 2006, Bloopa! began, and several months later Malic, and MORG started as well. Several other sticker artists are Under Water Pirates, CZR 7, Sea R Zea, King Bender, Question Josh, Zu Dragon, One Eyed Fee, Juce, SBP, Ronin, Gump, Mr.G, and Where's Dash.
