The National Rifleman Association's KOOKY KIDZ KORNER is a parody website made by Chickenhead Productions (the same company that owns Whitehouse.org). It's url is poking fun at the KKK. Although it is a parody, some people think that it is a real website.

Cedza Dlamini, also known as Prince Cedza Dlamini, is a humanitarian, youth activist, spokesman for the UN's Millennium Development Goals, and the founder of the Southern African Youth Leadership Institute (SAYLI). Cedza was born on February 24, 1976 to Prince Thumbumuiz Dlamini and Zenani Mandela-Dlamini. He is a dual citizen of the Kingdom of Swaziland and the Republic of South Africa. He is part of the royal family of Swaziland and a grandson of Nelson and Winnie Mandela. His Swazi grandfather, King Sobhuza II, fought for the independence of his people, creating the nation of Swaziland. Nelson Mandela led the movement against oppression of blacks in South Africa and later became the first black president of South Africa and won the Nobel Peace Prize. Cedza was educated at an all-boys Catholic school in Swaziland, but he still experienced severe racism first-hand in South Africa. After high school, Cedza joined the workforce in a number of capacities including a model and sales cosultant. In 1995, he joined the Mitsubishi Corporation in South Africa. At Mitsubishi he served for 3 years as an assistant to the Official Development Assistance (ODA) Manager, facilitating development programs between Japan and all 14 countries in the Southern African Developing Community (SADC) region. During his time at Mitsubishi, he aided in providing mobile clinics that brought medicine and healthcare to poor rural areas and assited in developing the company's affirmative action policy. Several years later, Cedza joined Mandela, Dlamini and Associates (MDA), his family’s international business consulting firm in Johannesburg. At MDA, he was exposed to the many obstacles emerging black entrepreneurs in the post-apartheid South Africa faced. He was determined to return one day to expand resources and provide economic opportunities for his fellow Southern Africans. So impacted by the exposure to illiteracy and poverty in Southern Africa while working for both Mitsubishi and MDA, in 1998, Cedza co-founded America Reads/South Africa Reads (ARSAR). ARSAR was a non-profit organization promoting K-12 literacy and access to primary education in South Africa and the United States through advocacy and book-drives. Traveling to 25 K-12 schools in 10 states throughout the U.S., he collected nearly 100,000 children’s books for South African libraries serving rural schools. In recognition of his contribution to world literacy, he has been honored in the United States with a Key to the City of Cambridge, Massachusetts and Little Rock, Arkansas as well as having September 24th designated as Prince Cedza Dlamini Day in Little Rock, Arkansas. In 2000, Cedza moved to the United States to study international relations. After 9/11, Cedza began a speaking circuit throughout the U.S. that promotes global forgiveness, compassion, and the use of dialogue –instead of violence–as a powerful tool for conflict resolution. To date, Cedza has spoken to over 50 non-profit organizations and academic institutions with audiences ranging from 200-14,000 people. He also now inspires young people, speaking on youth empowerment and leadership. Through his 3 Principles of Success, Cedza helps youth realize that with the right attitude they can overcome any challenge. In October 2003, Cedza was also appointed Co-chair for the World Youth Peace Summit (WYPS) in Africa. Cedza attended World Youth Peace regional conferences in Sarajevo and Tokyo in 2004 where he joined over 500 young leaders from across Europe and Asia to discuss ways to use peaceful means to resolve global conflicts and promote tolerance between cultures, faiths and religions. In June 2004, Cedza was recruited by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to be part of the first-ever Pan African Youth Leadership Summit held in Dakar, Senegal. After achieving great results from this conference, he was appointed as an activist and spokesman for the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and has represented his continent in youth leadership conferences in Japan, Bosnia and Canada. In addition, he travels to generate knowledge of the MDGs. In addition, Cedza joined the Strategic Development Team of the Global Action Youth Network, which has presence in over 200 countries and is currently creating a global network of youth advocates committed to guaranteeing a future of peace, justice and sustainability. In 2005, Cedza founded the Southern African Youth Leadership Institute, which arms young African leaders with the leadership and professional skills they need to achieve the MDGs in their communities. Cedza earned his bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts. refrigerator —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 68.160.141.67 (talk • contribs).

Charlie Chaplin was the first and foremost comedy artist of the silent era. He meant many things to mCharlie Chaplinany people. His working methods were a mystery until they rediscovered a cache of films he had stored away, which was brought to light after his death. His fourth wife, Lady Oona Chaplin generously consented to provide his film legacy. One of his professional secrets was that he first rehearsed on a film and then only went ahead. Some of his artistic beliefs were highly criticized. He took great amount of time to create his feature films. He preserved every possible scrap of film, which seemed wasteful and expensive. He had an incredible business mind. He carefully saved and preserved his own pictures. He had foresight or just plain common sense. He loved exposure and quite early in the game re-released many of his own films to generations that followed. He never had a period of non-exposure, which was not the case for other giants of silent era. His leading memorable movies include : A Woman July 12th, 1915

In digital semiconductor design a software model of a chip (in VHDL or Verilog) allows designers to see how a chip might behave in the real world as the inputs to the chip change. These simluations can take many hours to run so engineers will let the simulation run and then go back later and look at the results. The simulator records changes on the chip's signals and puts them in a file, often using the VCD format. The designer will then look at the VCD with a software tool called a waveform viewer. The waveform viewer reads the VCD file and produces a picture that looks like an EKG monitor. The VCD file is a readable ASCII text file. Everytime a signal changes state in simulation (e.g., going from a 0 to 1) the new state and the timestamp are placed in the VCD file, therefore recording signals that toggle frequently, such as clocks, will create a large VCD file. While widely used in digital design, it is not, and does not try to be the most efficient method for recording such information.

Famed for his sense of humour and passion for Chelsea FC, Andy presents an afternoon show with his colleague Paul Hawksbee. Andy is a master of the comic one-liner and is also a talented singer and promo reader. Andy is short of stature (5'6"), but more than makes up for this by his super-fit and muscular body which has been compared to a cross between the tennis player Amelie Mauresmo and broadcaster Vanessa Feltz. In his spare time Andy likes to cook, often being seen in his Chiswick kitchen preparing scallops and polenta for his close friend the film director and well-known bon-viveur Michael Winner. Alton Kelley is an American artist best known for his psychedelic art, in particular his designs for 1960s rock concerts and albums. Along with artists Rick Griffin, Stanley Mouse, Victor Moscoso and Wes Wilson, Kelley founded the Berkeley Bonaparte distribution agency in order to produce and sell psychedelic poster art. Along with fellow artist Stanley Mouse, Kelley is credited with creating the skull and roses image for the Grateful Dead. Kelley's artwork on the 1971 self-titled live album, Grateful Dead, incorporated a black and white illustration of a skeleton by Edmund Sullivan, which originally appeared in a 19th century edition of the Rubáiyát of Omar Khayyám. In 1995, Kelley designed and printed a limited edition poster of Jack Kerouac to raise money for the Jan Kerouac Benefit Fund. Schopenhauer's pessimistic view of the force that motivates human beings and explains most behaviours - Will to Survive. Humans are compelled to act in a certain way to simply satisfy their needs. It is an ongoing and endless cycle of needs and needs satisfaction until death. Humans are not driven by intellect or morality but by self preservation. Making most human behaviour irrational. Pleasure is gained from needs satisfaction, which lasts until the next need arises. So pleasure is fleeting. When all needs are satisfied humans become bored. In a free electron laser the radiation emitted by the accelerated electrons is strong enough to interact with the electrons themselves. This interaction causes bunching among the electrons. The electron bunches then start to emit radiation as if it was one large charged particle, because of this all the radiation is in phase and the fields add coherently.

The Derbyshire Caving Club is an unincorporated society of people interested in caving and mining based in Stockport and Cheshire, UK. The club was formed in 1959 from another caving club that split into a southern part (that kept the name Orpheus Caving Club) and a northern part (which renamed itself the Derbyshire Caving Club). The Club was started with a membership of about 20, a few of whom are still active in the club over 45 years later. The club grew steadily in its early years and much of its interest remained in and around Derbyshire. Towards the end of the 1960s, a younger element entered the club and its members started to undertake expeditions abroad as well as carrying on regular exploration of major UK caves. At the beginning of the 1970s, a few of the members developed their interest in the mines at Alderley Edge by arranging a lease of the mines from the National Trust. During the 1970s, caving around Britain and Europe and working at Alderley Edge developed together. By 1980, the trend continued as interest in Alderley Edge blossomed and a large influx of members arose. These were mainly people whose principal or sole interest is the exploration of the Alderley Mines. They became known as the Miners! In the 21st century, the membership reached around 80 and there is a healthy balance between the two branches of the sport, caving and mining. The Club continues to be responsible to the National Trust for the maintenance of the majority of the copper mines and for escorting visitors around the mines.

Throughout the 19th Century the Hall was used for exhibitions, theatrical performances, other entertainments and shows. It was particularly associated with watercolour shows. The Old Water-Colour Society exhibited there in 1821-22. Charles Heath exhibited JMW Turner's watercolours for the "Picturesque Views in England and Wales" series there in 1829 and the Old Dudley Art Society (another artists club founded in 1861) also used the Hall. At various times, the building was referred to as the London Museum, the Egyptian Hall or Egyptian Museum, or Bullock's Museum. By the end of the 19th Century is was also associated with magic and spiritualism and by the turn of the century some of the first ever films (or Animated Photographs) were shown here. In 1905, The Egyptian Hall was demolished and the office block at 170-173 Piccadilly was subsequently built on the site.

The Rzeppa joint is a constant velocity joint The Rzeppa CV joint is a monument to simplicity and clever design. Considering the geometry requirements, it contains relatively few moving parts, and the ones it does contain can be made robust enough to handle almost any power transfer requirements. The heart of the joint is a cage with slotted openings that constrain six balls within the confines of the inner race. In the drawings below, you can see that the shape of the race, the cage, and the housing allow tilting and rotation of the inner race and cage, to accommodate steering motion and rotation of the wheel hubs to which the housing is attached.
Like the Bendix-Weiss joint the balls in the Rzeppa joint skid in the grooves when the joint is operated at an angle and even with modern lubricants the wear rate and friction is high, such that the life of these joints is reckoned in minutes when used at any appreciable angle and torque setting.

Holden Village is a historic mining town located near the Glacier Peak Wilderness by Lake Chelan in Washington State, USA. The village was created for the purpose of copper mining in the late 19th and early 20th century. The village was abandoned in the 1950's and then donated to the Lutheran Church in the 1970's. Today the village operates as a retreat center as well as a "jumping off point" for adventurers headed into the Glacier Peak wilderness. The village is a prominent figure in social justice issues and is known widely for living in an almost ecologically sustainable setting.
