Fastily (talk · contribs · blocks · protections · deletions · page moves · rights · RfA)
[edit]Well, I guess I must say I am interested in knowing what the general en.wikipedia populous thinks of me. There are things I've done that I'm not proud of and there are also things where I can say the exact opposite. Most of all, I'd like to know I how I can improve. If you have any opinions or suggestions for me, please note them here. Thanks, FASTILY (TALK) 11:24, 5 August 2010 (UTC)
- I admire your work ethic and your dedication to keeping Wikipedia neat and tidy. You really shine when it comes to cleaning out certain administrative backlogs and a scan of your recent logs shows that. Though I must say I was very disappointed to see the situation at User talk:Skookum1#WP:ANI#User:Skookum1 which led to the retirement of an editor whom I respect. I make no judgment on whether your actions were wrong or right, just that I think the situation could have been avoided, and we lost a good editor at least in part because of your actions. -- Ϫ 08:51, 13 August 2010 (UTC)
- A very small, very trivial, point: I notice you routinely write "Why not?" as your support at RfAs. Maybe it would be better not to use a boilerplate comment. --Tryptofish (talk) 21:11, 13 August 2010 (UTC)
- I see you a lot at RfPP, where we often seem to be on around the same time. I think you're protections are good and generally well explained, even if sometimes you protect and I wouldn't and vice versa. I take my hat off to any admin who works with images, because that's a closed and completely confusing book to me! Keep up the good work (and comment on mine below ;))
- I see you now "retired" but if/when you do come back you should become familiar with the Wikipedia:Image use policy, especially the section on Fair use images as you have stated there is no such policy. Soundvisions1 (talk) 11:42, 4 October 2010 (UTC)
- I'm going to miss seeing you around. Good luck with your future projects and please come back soon. --Kudpung (talk) 19:43, 4 October 2010 (UTC)
