Question from Vastarien88 (02:40, 27 May 2025)

[edit]

How can I properly revert changes made to multiple pages by a vandal account and report the account, as I see they have warnings and 3 previous block log entries for vandalism (all expired)? --Vastarien88 (talk) 02:40, 27 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Question from Lunamason (01:10, 30 May 2025)

[edit]

Good day, Regarding citations, is github an appropriate source for the following claim on the page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GIMP#Automation.2C_scripts_and_plug-ins ? "MathMap is an example of a plug-in written in C."

The github page for the MathMap plug-in is here https://github.com/schani/mathmap and shows it is primarily written in the C programming language.

Thank you in advance. --Lunamason (talk) 01:10, 30 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Lunamason Yes, considering that it is information that would best be represented by a primary source. thetechie@enwiki (she/they | talk) 02:11, 30 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Question from PuzzleGiggle (19:55, 31 May 2025)

[edit]

Hi! I've noticed that most articles prevent editors from editing them unless their account is 4 days old, and I have no problem. But I have noticed that despite this 4-day period passing, some articles still prevent me to edit them, so could you tell me the probably reason? --PuzzleGiggle (talk) 19:55, 31 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hello @PuzzleGiggle, all articles don't have the restriction unless an admin adds them due to vandalism, unconstructive editing, contentious topics etc. In addition, there are more stricter types of restrictions than the one you described (this page describes them all). thetechie@enwiki (she/they | talk) 21:40, 1 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Oh ok, thank you:) PuzzleGiggle (talk) 06:08, 2 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
