- Under section "Identifying Waste": Daniel T. Jones and Monden are mentioned with no description of who they are. - Under section "Using the Method": Who is Shigeo Shingo? - Under section "Associated Analysis Methods": Who are Hines and Rich? - Show a visual difference between current state and future state maps in "Using the Method"

If available, the article could use some history into the development of value-stream mapping. Part of this section could include an application of value-stream mapping to help the reader better understand what it is.

There are several lists developed by previous researchers in the field. It may be beneficial to give some background to these lists to bring them into the section.

Minor Edits

Under the caption for the value-stream maps, remove "some of which can be seen here."
In the second sentence under "Using the method," use a ";" or "." between "currently looks like" and "the future state."
