Group #26 Doing the Review

Review #1 This page seems to be coming along pretty well. The Chembox has relevant information as do the various sections. I really like how you guys included the pictures for the reactions section. I think it is very beneficial in helping people understand the reaction process. I would recommend that you guys use in-text links within your article. This will help integrate your information into Wikipedia. All you have to do is put two brackets at the beginning of the word and at the end of the word to link it. Wikipedia will automatically integrate and link the relevant word into other existing articles. Make sure you only do this for relevant words though. For example, you can put brackets around a word like chemical compound. This will help people get a better understanding of unfamiliar concepts as they can just click on the link and learn more about what a chemical compound is. Pretty much anything that can cause the reader to be confused should be surrounded with brackets. Overall, this article looks pretty good for a draft. I really like how you guys incorporated a reaction section to this page with pictures for examples. I feel that your properties section may not be needed because most of that information can just be included or already found in your chembox. Also the section you have on green chemistry is not very clear. I would maybe first explain what exactly green chemistry is and how it relates to this specific reaction and also possibly how this effects our environment. The basic information is there, but it needs to be expanded and become clearer. Also I think it would be good if you added a section on uses. Cleosteph (talk) 23:41, 1 November 2012 (UTC)

The first thing I notice about this page is the reaction section. It is really well presented. The chembox is also very nice. I especially like how you included the hazard information within it. I don't really know what Green Chemistry is, so maybe a little explanation would help clarify things. Chem box seems neat and with contingent information. Furthermore, this page contained a lot of reactions. However, some works need to be done on the units as well as the reaction section (maybe its synthesis?). More steps and elucidations would make it look better.
