D'Hondt strategic voting claim

[edit]

On deleting the comment about strategic voting in D'Hondt—because you said you think the information is correct, but the citation is imperfect, the best response is usually to tag with {{failed verification}} so we can double-check the reference (in case we just missed the part where it discusses this strategic voting effect) and add better sources that support the claim more directly. (I know there's gotta be a source out there, somewhere, that directly says D'Hondt causes strategic voting toward larger parties.) – Closed Limelike Curves (talk) 19:55, 5 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

ArbComBlock

[edit]

You have been indefinitely blocked by the Arbitration Committee.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, then appeal by emailing the Arbitration Committee (direct address: arbcom-en@wikimedia.org).

Administrators: This block may not be modified or lifted without the express prior written consent of the Arbitration Committee. Questions about this block should be directed to the Committee's mailing list.

Cabayi (talk) 10:39, 31 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Cabayi: What is the reason for this block? I have not been informed of any discussion about it, and it is rather difficult to contest or appeal a block when I do not know on what grounds I have been blocked. Wotwotwoot (talk) 12:39, 31 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
  • The Arbitration Committee received substantial evidence that you have engaged in significant off-wiki canvassing, which includes off-wiki coordination of disruptive editing, specifically in regard to voting reform and activism. Cabayi (talk) 08:34, 3 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Cabayi Could I have a copy of this evidence and some examples of the disruptive editing that I have been claimed to have performed? It is difficult to address any allegations without knowing their substance, particularly since I were not "notified of the private hearing and [given] a reasonable opportunity to respond to what [was] said about them before a decision [was] made" as WP:AP describes. The block notice above tells you how to proceed. Cabayi (talk) 09:35, 5 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
