Hi, Wikiztb! Say, I noticed this article, and thought I'd pop on over to say hello.

While I appreciate your eagerness to add content to Wikipedia, I have doubts about the usefulness of this particular article. Why do you think it needs to be a separate article? For example, the article absolute value already exists, and it has a very pretty picture in it. We also have floor and ceiling functions in Wikipedia already.
