Information icon Hello, I'm Amkgp. I noticed that you recently removed content from BBV152 without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. As per WP:POV please do not remove facts and criticism that are supported by reliable sources and here it does not violate WP:BALASP — Amkgp 💬 05:22, 13 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:42, 19 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks! LR.127 (talk) 16:48, 23 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

WP:BLPSOURCES requires that any material that is challenged may be removed until a reliable source supporting the material is included. You have not sourced this edit to anything. Further, referring to the Dadasaheb Phalke Award as "highest award in the field of cinema" is entirely subjective and without merit. It is India's highest award, not the highest cinema award in the world. I am reverting your addition due to it being unsourced, per WP:BLPSOURCES. Please do not restore it without such citations as doing so is a direct violation of WP:BLPSOURCES. Also, if you do add it with citations, do not call the Dadasaheb Phalke Award the highest cinema award. You can qualify it with "India" but do not infer the award is the highest in the world. If you have questions, let me know. Thanks, --Hammersoft (talk) 17:45, 20 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Turns out User:Batthini Vinay Kumar Goud added it for you :) [1], but thank you for adding "Indian" [2]. --Hammersoft (talk) 17:50, 20 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Has been updated with a citation. Dadasaheb Phalke Award has also been mentioned as India's highest award in the field of cinema. Wikisteditor (talk) 17:51, 20 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
