Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. A tag has been placed on User:Wikimob66 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. I republished a quote on the Tyrell Davis page and properly added the proper citation. Perhaps you can remove you speedy deletion request? I really don't understand what the point is of sending me all the information on how to avoid copyright problems and then asking to delete me without giving me the opportunity to correct the mistakes. How is anybody supposed to learn and get better if you delete them? WikiMob66 Wikimob66 (talk) 09:49, 15 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The passage I removed had no quotation marks and no citation. I can send you the removed content via email if you like, but you will have to activate your Wikipedia email first. Diannaa (talk) 14:38, 15 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It appears that you misunderstood what I said. I do not deny that the information that you removed was not properly posted . We learn from our mistakes. So, my question was, now that you removed the improper info and I have posted a new quote properly, will you remove your Speedy deletion nomination of User:Wikimob66 ? What is the point of removing users simply because they've made a mistake? WikiMob66 Wikimob66 (talk) 01:35, 22 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Contested deletion

[edit]

This page should not be speedily deleted because (your reason here) --WikiMob66 Wikimob66 (talk) 07:54, 15 November 2024 (UTC) I corrected the copywrite error by adding only one quote and citing it. And there nothing wrong with saying who you are on your user page. How is anyone supposed to learn and make contributions if you delete user pages?[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm C.Fred. I noticed that you recently removed content from Bisexuality in the United States without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. —C.Fred (talk) 02:57, 28 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

You are absolutely Incorrect I did adequately explain why repeatedly! Here's the latest... 1st off, it is not up to me to prove that the organizations did not exist, it's up to you or whoever posts the Information to prove that they did by supplying verifiable sources. The 1st link you provided makes the same false statements that I removed & provides NO verifiable sources. And, that doc was written & produced by BiNet USA of which Guren was President.Corp Which is why net usa is not a good source for Guren. I don't know if it's valid source for the other info so why would I remove it from all of instances where it was used? The 2nd & 3rd are identical statements written by the same person but published with two different titles. The author provides NO source for her statement whatsoever. And your statement that "the About pages for Pridelines and Care Resource mention these two organizations as their respective starting points." is untrue. Ptidelines about page does not mention the "Gay Teen Task Force" because it did not exist. Again if somebody says it does and they are required to provide valid source information but they cannot because it does not exist. And In fact, Pridelines was it in fact originally called The Gay and Lesbian Youth Group of South Florida. It has repeatedly been mislabeled as The Gay and Lesbian Youth Group off Miami. And, It has also been repeatedly stated that the group met on Fridays from 7 to 9:00 PM which is completely false. The group met on Mondays From 7 to 9:00 PM and the very 1st meeting was held on October 11, 1982. It is also falsely repeatedly stated that the group1st incorporated in 1999. The fact is the group 1st incorporated in 1990 as The Gay and Lesbian Youth Group of South Florida, Inc. GLYGSFInc And, The original text that I removed regarding Guren being on the founding BOD of directors of the Health Crisis Network stated that happened in 1981. The item referenced that says 1982, which is what you have reposted, once again was written and published by BiNet USA which Guren was running (conflict of interest - not a valid source) Not to mention Health Crisis Network wasn't founded until 1983. Every mention of Guren being on the founding BOD of HCN all lead back to the same BINet USA source which Guren was involved in creating yet doesn't even have the correct date. Again, neither of the two statements has a verifiable source. WikiMob66 Wikimob66 (talk) 02:36, 28 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I rechecked the source, and Wendy Curry was president of BiNet USA at the time of its publication, so I don't see what Alexei Guren has to do with the source's reliability at all. —C.Fred (talk) 10:32, 28 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
