Thank you for your prompt reply.

I will try to edit the text, although I'm not very well versed in the technicalities of Wikipedia page layout.

As a simple translator I have just reused the references that are in the French version of the page, which has been online for a long time and requests translations in other languages (Spirit of 66 has an important attendance from neighbouring countries as well).

Hi, each language Wikipedia has there own policies and guidelines so just because an article exists in another language does not mean it is ok here. The first thing to look for is sources to show notability - all new articles on Wikipedia have to show the subject is notable (See WP:N) which in most cases requires significant coverage (WP:SIGCOV) in multiple independent (WP:INDY) reliable sources (WP:RS). Also do not worry about the " technicalities of Wikipedia page layout" if you have the basic text and sources others will fix up the layout.
