Welcome Wikidin. As you can see, there's a big difference between editing Wikipedia and being involved with Wikipedia. I can see you're already pro because you used a link to my User page. Most noobs can't do that. When you read a page, the most essential place to go to isn't the actual "article", but the "discussion" (or talk page) or "history". This is the key to who is involved with it and what is really going on within the article.

Links and other maintenance

I pimped your page a little bit. For links to pages within English Wikipedia, you can just use [[]] around the text and it will automatically lead to the article provided that after the text you have "|" and then the exact title of the article. You can go to edit for your userpage and you'll see how the links were changed. Don't forget, edit history is extremely important because it lets you see cached changes and any suer has the power to undo edits (whether it be vandalism, a blatant act of deletionism, or just something not bettering Wikipedia.

If you see anything programmed that you want to bring to another page or re-use, you can just copy the code for it from the edit page. That's how I learned how to redirect articles, and put them up for deletion, and so on. Wikitank (talk) 02:52, 23 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
