[edit] Please don't change the format of dates, as you did to Kow Nkensen Arkaah. As a general rule, if an article has evolved using predominantly one format, the dates should be left in the format they were originally written in, unless there are reasons for changing it based on strong national ties to the topic. Please also note that Wikipedia does not use ordinal suffixes (e.g., st, nd, th), articles, or leading zeros on dates.
For more information about how dates should be written on Wikipedia, please see this page.

- i feel like you are not being honest VictoriousEditorAndManForever (talk) 20:09, 18 April 2025 (UTC)
- look at this editor Ser Amantio di Nicolao edit adding with use date template and you finish you come and tell big lies VictoriousEditorAndManForever (talk) 20:17, 18 April 2025 (UTC)
- Perhaps you were under the impression that we use such templates to choose which date format to use and that you had a free hand in making that choice. It isn't so. Template:Use mdy dates/doc and Template:Use dmy dates/doc describe their use. Almost without exception, your placements were contrary to our practice on retaining existing formats MOS:DATERET and/or our practice on using appropriate formats MOS:DATETIES, and any editor that followed them would themselves have been going against MOS:DATERET and/or MOS:DATETIES. Also, in several cases you repeated an edit summary saying "use mdy" dates when actually inserting {{Use dmy dates}}, which was misleading and made it harder for anyone else to assess your edits. Please do not use misleading edit summaries when making changes to Wikipedia pages, as you did to Will and Testament (novel). This behavior is viewed as disruptive, and continuation may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. NebY (talk) 11:30, 18 April 2025 (UTC)
