Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did in Web accessibility. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that exist to attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policies for further explanations of links that are considered appropriate. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. --Ronz 18:17, 4 November 2006 (UTC)
I don't understand what the objection is to WebAIM. They are very much like some of the other organizations listed, for example "Knowbility - Non-profit organization that provides accessibility assessments and training". WebAIM is a non-profit, university-based project that provides accessibility assessments and training. That's almost word-for-word what Knowbility is, and yet Knowbility is still on the list. So what's the objection?--Tw33dl3bug 19:13, 4 November 2006 (UTC)
- Yes, the list of links could be reduced substantially and the quality of them improved greatly. I hope this case will get some discussion going so we can figure how to improve the article and address your concerns. I liked your other edits to the article, it's just that the link position [1] and glance of content comes across as spam. --Ronz 01:52, 5 November 2006 (UTC)
There's an easy solution to link position: alphabetical order. I didn't see any discernable order, so I just put it in the list, thinking I'd get back to it and put it in a better order later, but you took it off before I got back to it. --Tw33dl3bug 14:18, 5 November 2006 (UTC)
