I apologize

That was a mis-click, and I thought about reverting myself, but shouldn't there be more evidence in the article that the effects of the shock were limited to Retalhuleu? Maybe consider moving the article title to that name first? If you put in a move request (WP:RM), or even just bring up the topic on the article's talk page, we could improve the name of the article from just the generic "2012 Guatemala earthquake". That actually would be a huge improvement. Dawnseeker2000 22:58, 22 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I find the proposal interesting. ¿Could you explain to me a little more why you think that the current title is too generic? I would like to understand your reasoning better. Titanium Zem (talk) 19:13, 23 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, I may have spoke too soon. I see that the Spanish version of the article is no less concise (Terremoto de Guatemala de 2012) and the only paper that I found is also not any more specific "The November 7, 2012 M7.4 Guatemala Earthquake and its Implications for Disaster Reduction and Mitigation". My hopes have been dashed. Dawnseeker2000 03:26, 24 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
