Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Second Sino-Japanese War, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Remsense ‥  10:19, 7 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

This also does not follow the MOS. Overlinking, duplicate links, links in headings etc. Mellk (talk) 10:12, 9 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You're still overlinking in last five edits I've checked. Please stop overlinking. Articles are not improved by linking to a concept/subject five times in a row but rather by means of adding links to unknown/lesser known subjects etc. Best regards, A09|(talk) 10:39, 10 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I am afraid that they are still not listening.[1] Mellk (talk) 11:26, 11 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@TimmySu5: Is there a particular reason why you are still overlinking/including duplicate links? Mellk (talk) 02:51, 6 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I came here to comment on your extensive edit here and to explain to you at least two things that jump up at the reader: your overlinking.... You have linked the same names within a paragraph (as per WP:MOSLINK: "Link a term at most once per major section") and you have linked section headings (MOS:NOSECTIONLINKS). However, I see from the above comments that you are already aware of this. Please go back to that page and remove the vast majority of the links you have added. A few of the links you added are actually very useful, but if your edits generate more work for other users, they may be reverted to the last stable version, which is what I was initially tempted to do, and all your effort will have been wasted. Information icon Please do not use styles that are nonstandard, unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in Spain under Joseph Bonaparte. There is a Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Thank you. Technopat (talk) 11:55, 29 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
