Hello, I'm TenPoundHammer. I noticed that you made a comment that didn't seem very civil, so it may have been removed. Wikipedia is built on collaboration, so it's one of our core principles to interact with one another in a polite and respectful manner. If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Ten Pound Hammer • (What did I screw up now?) 19:47, 24 September 2025 (UTC)
- What part was not civil? Quote follows. Title: World Music Awards
- You nominated the article for deletion some years ago. You may not realize it, but this award show was definitely notable in Europe in the 1990s. It was shown on TV and it was a big deal for national stars from smaller countries to be in Monaco and to be honored among global stars. It really annoys me that you would delete all the work by others because you as an American did not find it notable enough. Maybe you are not the center of the world?
- Please don't be an exclusionist. TigerFromEarth (talk) 19:51, 24 September 2025 (UTC)
There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Ten Pound Hammer • (What did I screw up now?) 21:36, 24 September 2025 (UTC)
Here are the messages I posted on the user's talk page - as he invited me to do - that were described as hounding when he reported me to ANI:
How respectful is it to want to delete a whole decades old page just because you don't find it relevant enough? World Music Awards TigerFromEarth (talk) 20:02, 24 September 2025 (UTC)
- What hurt is there in just letting it be? TigerFromEarth (talk) 20:03, 24 September 2025 (UTC)
- How irrelevant can an event be that drew the best-selling artists of many countries for many years, to come and fetch their award? Artists whose sales are surely in the hundreds of millions combined? A show that was televised broadly? How can you defend wanting to delete such an article? TigerFromEarth (talk) 21:06, 24 September 2025 (UTC)
- If someone did a Google search in 2022, and found that the award was irrelevant then and they hadn't ever heard of it from their corner of the world anyway, they could well decide to want to delete it completely. It was still a very wrong call. TigerFromEarth (talk) 21:18, 24 September 2025 (UTC)

World Music Awards
[edit]Hi, I noticed you've expanded the article. That's a good initiative. However, I see most additions lack of reliable sources (i,e, angelfire.com, beatlesonfilm among others). You might try search up inside awards-lists of some of these artists and compare, and or find third-party sources, through Google.com, Google Books, Worldradiohistory.com, ProQuest which are usually good tools. Also, as the award took part from Monaco, you can try search from Italian or French sources. No rush on it, only a suggestion. In case you need some help, let me know. Cheers, --Apoxyomenus (talk) 21:26, 2 October 2025 (UTC)
- Following up on this. If you are going to add artists to the World Music Awards winners Category you should ensure that this award is mentioned and cited in the artist's article, not just the World Music Awards article. Otherwise the category on the artist's page is unsupported, and will likely be removed. Thanks. --Escape Orbit (Talk) 09:49, 22 October 2025 (UTC)
- Okay, I'll stop adding in a minute. TigerFromEarth (talk) 09:56, 22 October 2025 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for October 21
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited World Music Awards, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page David Halliday. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

- Hi bot, thanks. I know. I meant David Hallyday. TigerFromEarth (talk) 20:01, 21 October 2025 (UTC)
