RandomFootballFan - "FIU Panthers football" Article

Hi, this is RandomFootballFan, who made the "FIU Panthers football" edit. I completely understand your decision to delete my post, and I have no hard feelings against you at all. Just to try and explain myself, I am actually a teenager living in Illinois, and is actually a diehard FIU athletics fan. I am not sure how this passion started, by I recall playing the EA Sports video game NCAA Football 10, and wanted to choose a team that was particularly bad. Thus, I chose FIU, since their ratings were bad and I fell in love with their colors. Also, they faced a lot of very tough (American) college football teams on their schedule, such as the University of Alabama and the University of Florida. Because of years of playing with FIU on the NCAA Football videogame series, I decided to follow their college, and eventually became an FIU supporter. Anyways, I was just annoyed with the era in which Ron Turner took over the FIU head coaching job, in which they struggled throughout his entire tenure. Because I recently made a Wikipedia account (today, actually), I wanted to express my opinion on him, which in turn, was later caught by you.

However, I am still very interested in this editing process. Do you get reports on the latest edits, or did you just stumble upon the "FIU Panthers football" article?

Hi @RandomFootballFan:, there's no problem, and it's great that you're editing stuff passionate to you, I just reverted it because on Wikipedia it is important to keep to a neutral point of view. Check out WP:NPOV to learn more. You certainly aren't in any trouble and nobody's angry at you. :) Have fun! Oh yeah, and I don't get notified of everything, but I do recent changes patrol, WP:RCP so I and a bunch of others watch recent edits and try to catch any problems.
