Your account has been blocked indefinitely because it is being used only for vandalism. Furthermore, your username is a blatant violation of our username policy, meaning that it is profane, threatens, attacks or impersonates another person, or suggests that your intention is not to contribute to the encyclopedia. Please see our blocking and username policies for more information.
We invite everyone to contribute constructively to Wikipedia, but users are not allowed to edit with accounts that have inappropriate usernames, and we do not tolerate 'bad faith' editing such as trolling or other disruptive behavior. If you believe that this block was incorrect or made in error, or would otherwise like to explain why you should be unblocked, you are welcome to appeal this block – read our guide to appealing blocks to understand more about unblock requests, and then add the following text to the bottom of your user talk page: new username

- Familiarizing yourself with our basic rules.
- Reading our guide to improving articles.
- Picking any pre-existing article you wish to improve.
- If you have trouble choosing an article to improve, see this index of articles needing improvement for ideas.
Once you have decided on the article you will propose improvements to:
- Click the Edit tab at the top of that article;
- Copy the portion of the prose from that article that you will be proposing changes to. However:
- do not copy the "infobox" from the start of the article (i.e., markup like this:
...
), - do not copy any image placement code (i.e., markup like this:

), - do not copy the page's categories from the bottom of the page (i.e., markup like this:

), - and do not copy the stub tag (if there) from the bottom of the page (i.e., markup like this:
Foo stub
);
- do not copy the "infobox" from the start of the article (i.e., markup like this:
- Click edit at your talk page and paste at the bottom under a new section header (like this:
Article title
) the copied content but do not save yet; - Place your cursor in the edit summary box and paste there an edit summary in the following form which specifies the name of the article you copied from and links to it (this is required for mandatory copyright attribution): "
Copied content from exact Name of Article; see that article's history for attribution.
" - You can now save the page. However, if your edits have any citations to reliable sources (which they should), add the following template to the end of your prose:
reflist-talk
. Once you have added the template, click .
- Now, edit that content. Propose significant and well researched improvements by editing the selected portion of the article. Please note that we are not looking for basic typo corrections, or small unreferenced additions; your edits should be substantial, and reflect relevant policies.
- When you are done with your work, re-request unblocking using unblock and an administrator will review your proposed edits.
- If we (including the original blocking admin) are convinced that your proposed edits will hopefully improve Wikipedia as an encyclopedia, you will be unblocked.

I'm a bit concerned that you apparently needed to know it was a rule to not reference a bodily function in your username in order to not do so- would you walk into a bar and announce your name as that? In any event, your choice of new username would be fine. Your username is not the only issue here, you need to address your vandalism. Yamla left you a process in order to demonstrate a substantive edit(more than fixing spelling or grammar) you would make to an article of your choosing. Are you explicitly declining to use that process? If so, that will likely count against you in your unblock request. 331dot (talk) 08:04, 5 October 2024 (UTC)
- Im trying to fix this first and then the process Yamla sent, I just thought it would be funny to name myself this. Poopy mcmanface (talk) 08:09, 5 October 2024 (UTC)
- I don't think it's rare for a person to think "I'm going to name myself something funny and stupid just for the sake of being silly" because that normally isnt a rule that is enforced by other websites, a person would'nt expect a name like Glitterfart to be banned but instead one that includes swear words or slurs, I don't think if you came into a walkway and said "What are they Wikipedia username policies?" I don't think "No references of a bodily function" would be their first thought.
- I understand about the vandalism, I get that I can't edit links anymore because of my descision, Obviously I can't make something up from a untrusted website like Quora, but the name, I want to change the name. Because I realized that it was not a good name. Poopy mcmanface (talk) 08:21, 5 October 2024 (UTC)
- I've now renamed you. 331dot (talk) 08:35, 5 October 2024 (UTC)
