Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Thenorius, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your recent edits to the page South China Sea did not conform to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and may have been removed. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations verified in reliable, reputable print or online sources or in other reliable media. Always provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles.

If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to The Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! If you had properly sourced your suggested alternative names , you would have realised that neither of the two names apply to the whole of the South China Sea officially, although some with a point of view have used these names more generally. Again, welcome!  ChaseKiwi (talk) 22:21, 12 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I have now identified you were advised to use sources on 8th March. I have not been able to verify any of your recent edits so think it advisable to revert them, even if they are correct. If you have the range of knowledge of different cultures you appear to have, providing verifiable sources should be easy. ChaseKiwi (talk) 22:50, 12 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm Adakiko. I noticed that in this edit to Dakhla, Western Sahara, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Adakiko (talk) 10:50, 21 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, Thenorius, welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. Your editing pattern indicates that you may be using multiple accounts or coordinating editing with people outside Wikipedia, such as 2A02:9130:8CB4:9B24:B53E:F7A:8004:718C (talk · contribs). Our policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow this, and users who misuse multiple accounts may be blocked from editing. If you operate multiple accounts directly or with the help of another person, please disclose these connections. Thank you. M.Bitton (talk) 12:29, 21 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles as you apparently did to South China Sea. Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Please do not add "Spanish translations" for the West Philippine Sea designation. Even if an official Spanish version somehow exist. Its not really used much. Hariboneagle927 (talk) 17:38, 28 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
