The return of Biggspowd

[edit]

Hi The Parsnip! - I just wanted to let you know that it looks like User:Biggspowd has returned as an anon IP address 75.5.237.217. This IP us removing all of the smoking related death items that Biggspowd was banned (at least in part for). As you were part of fixing this I thought that I would let you know. If you want me to take this to the suspected sock puppets page just let me know and thanks for your time. MarnetteD | Talk 22:41, 24 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for following up so quickly and for being so thorough in your reporting of the incident. MarnetteD | Talk 23:31, 24 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
the ip continues to edit, but not disruptively. I've decided not to block quite yet. DGG (talk) 05:48, 25 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I saw DGG's note above so I left him this message [1] If you have anything to add please feel free to do so and thanks again for your time. MarnetteD | Talk 20:18, 25 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I prefer to keep conversations all on one page, so responded there. G'day. ~Kylu (u|t) 03:26, 31 August 2007 (UTC) [reply]

Biggspowd is back once again, under this I.P., he even has once again vandalised a page, as seen here (Look for his edits to the Funaki page) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/69.221.233.175
I've been following him and his many MANY I.P. account edits for the past few months. I've been wanting to report him for sockpuppetry, simply because he vandalizes on his other accounts, but I am still not 100% sure they're all him. The way they edit pages (Mostly deleting things and saying phrases such as "nn, over, last" in their edit summaries), the articles they all tend to focus on (Game shows and wrestling, with sports every now and then, sometimes they'll edit other pages to force their agenda, like the smoking thing), it has to be the same person. I'm just not 100% sure. FamicomJL 23:19, 2 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Well to be honest, I have no idea on how to do that. I do however, have the full list of 9 I.P.'s and accounts that I'm sure are the same person. They literally have almost the exact same I.P.'s. I can send them to you via e-mail or instant messenger. My AIM screenname is FamicomJL, same for Yahoo Messenger. I hope we can continue on with this, because I think I can make a good case, I just don't know how... FamicomJL 23:49, 2 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
What is your e-mail address? By the way, it is now 10 acounts, I missed one from my research that I just found now. FamicomJL 09:45, 4 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I just found something else. Apparently Biggspowd added a vote to an article that Booshakla created, pay close attention here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Jeopardy%21_auditions
I'm not jumping to conclusions, but if it is proven, he might have been using a meatpuppet as well, then. FamicomJL 02:13, 5 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Another one

[edit]

Here's another one I found on accident, actually http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/69.218.252.118

And he vandalised the Hector Gurerreo page http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Hector_Guerrero&diff=prev&oldid=112302677

All in all, I think we can get a pretty good case on him. FamicomJL 17:32, 8 September 2007 (UTC) [reply]

Here's a new one

Sorry if I'm overloading you with this stuff... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/75.5.224.138

Northern Exposure

[edit]

Once Rob Morrow left Northern Exposure, he did not return. He gave notice before the sixth season and they wrote him out in a lengthy story arc that lasted until about the seventh episode from the end. The series finale, the episode called "Tranquillity Base" was a single episode and not originally intended as a series finale. It was slightly re-edited (and Morrow did not appear in it) once they found out they they had not been picked up for a seventh season. Shsilver 16:46, 20 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Are you sure about that? I clearly remember Morrow appearing in the finale. The last shot was of him on the Long Island ferry... this was after he and Maggie went on the trek through the woods, met Adam, continued for a bit, then he parted the trees and walked through. Then, later, he sends her a postcard from NY. Or maybe that actually wasn't the final episode? (I haven't seen it since 1995). The Parsnip!
Positive. Watched all of them earlier this year. The final episode is set in Maurice's lodge and ends with Maggie showing up and hooking up with Chris Stevens after she decided not to go off to visit Mike Monroe.Shsilver 16:54, 20 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. Someone with a username very similar to yours has already recreated the article on the Pink Floyd song. However, it still contains no assertion of notability and as such is a prime candidate for speedy deletion. I would advise that you elaborate on it ASAP. Deb 17:08, 24 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm a bit baffled. The article I deleted was identical to the article as it stands. There's no record in the edit history of your ever having edited it. Is there maybe a title variant? Deb 21:35, 24 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks
