Your request regarding John D. Roush

I noted your post to the deletion discussion of the above article in passing - it will almost certainly not be noticed there, as AFD discussions are archived once completed and nobody really looks back to them. In that discussion, it's noted that the article was in such poor shape that even pushing it into a draft format would have been worthless. I would suggest that you might have better luck creating a new draft of the article and rectifying the issues that were identified when it was deleted. I would suggest leaving a message at User talk:filelakeshoe asking the admin who did the deletion if they would mind placing the content of the article into a sandbox for you to work with in creating a new draft.
