Account Creation Interface
You have been approved to use the Internal Account Creation Interface! Some important notes before you get started:
Abuse of the interface is not tolerated, and access can be revoked by an interface admin at a moment's notice
You should ask an administrator for the "accountcreator" usergroup, which overrides the 6 account creations/day limit. However, this usergroup too can be removed by any Wiki admin at a moment's notice if abused.
Now that you have read the generic warnings, please read (or re-read if you have read it already) the tool's documentation page which includes a link to the tool's request-filling interface. If you ever need any help, I myself am an interface admin and developer, so feel free to drop me a line on my talk page if you need help, or would like a new welcome template added to the autowelcome feature! --FastLizard4 (Talk•Index•Sign) 01:28, 8 August 2008 (UTC)
Howd you do that?
How did you find and revert my edit so fast? I went to see how it looked, and you had already changed it in less than 15 seconds. Are you like God or something? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.80.237.246 (talk) 20:09, 12 August 2008 (UTC)
Your rollback request
Rollback granted. Just remember that rollback should only be used to revert obvious vandalism, and that misuse of the tool, either by reverting good-faith edits or revert-warring with rollback, can lead to its removal. For practice, you may wish to see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback. Good luck. Acalamari15:30, 5 August 2008 (UTC)
You may do whichever you think is better: I, however, would add it to the Piedmont College article first, and if it becomes too long for that one, create a new article if it becomes necessary to do so. Be bold! Acalamari21:36, 13 August 2008 (UTC)
In response to your post on my talk page, I would agree with Acalamari. However, please note that I am not an admin on Wikipedia, I am an admin on the ACC tool. --FastLizard4 (Talk•Index•Sign) 00:47, 14 August 2008 (UTC)

Yeah. I have a pretty good internet connection (5MB/s), so I think that has something to do with my speed. You're pretty fast, too, but you only notice if I beat you. Hello! Thanks for your edits to the Cold War article. I think the reason for the <nowkiki>&ndash</nowiki>es is some formatting requirement for FA status. Would you mind verifying if this is true? If it is, can you revert? Also, as the spelling goes: if you're going change the British English spellings to American English, could you make sure that all the words are in American English? This was another complaint in the FAC discussion about why this article should not be FA status yet. The spelling isn't consistent. Can you help? Thanks! Hires an editor (talk) 05:08, 22 September 2008 (UTC)
I looked over my edits, and the past FC discussions, and I found nothing (not even in the MoS) about the &ndash. Also I used User:Cameltrader's Advisor.js which was recommended in both of the previous FC reviews. While the Advisor.js is not perfect, upon looking over my changes, I stick by them per the 'Dashes' section on the MoS.
Also, I changed my spellings back... there is probably more that needs to be turned into British English, since that is what is primarily used.
Thanks for this! I don't have an opinion either way about the spelling (okay, I prefer American English, since that's where I'm from), as long as it's consistent. So whatever works is okay with me. I'm surprised about the dash thing, since someone went through the trouble to make all those changes during the first FAC process, for some reason. :-) I'll defer to the Advisor script on this, too, and your research in the MoS...cheers! Hires an editor (talk) 12:18, 22 September 2008 (UTC)
No problem. I also prefer the American spelling, but that particular article is written primarily in British English. I hate to rely on a script, but the Advisor Script has been cited as being correct most of the time. If there is anything you need/want help with, I'd love to help out. Remember to Be Bold! -- RandorXeus18:08, 22 September 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, navboxes are intended for use as collections of links to articles, not mere lists of things; having red links in them defeats that purpose. If you're planning on creating those articles in the future, then of course you can then re-add them as appropriate, but it's otherwise useless to the reader. Haipa Doragon (talk • contributions) 05:21, 20 December 2008 (UTC)
That makes sense. I guess I had always thought to leave them in so that someone else might want to create them. Thanks for your response. -- RandorXeus. Remember to Be Bold!05:35, 20 December 2008 (UTC)
You've uploaded File:Mediagenerallogo.gif, and indicated that it's used under Wikipedia's rules for non-free images. However, it's not presently used in any articles. Wikipedia policy requires that non-free images be either used or deleted, so if this image isn't used in an article in the next week, it will be deleted.
It seems that you are describing an odd bug. To tell you the truth, I really don't know why the format of the suspended page changed. The reason why you were suspended is because you were filling requests in 17 seconds, which was deemed too fast. Slow down and check the request carefully - if you claim it, no one else will do it. As for unsuspending you, I'll have to ask the admins first. --FastLizard4 (Talk•Index•Sign) 05:34, 12 January 2009 (UTC)
I could see how that could be an issue. When I got online, there weren't any other account creators online. I figured that I would just go through and check on each of the accounts to see if they were legit all at the same time and then approved/denied. This was why I filled multiple requests all at once. If I get unsuspended, I'll be sure to take time in between the names, and process each name as I check it, instead of trying to do it all at once. Thanks for your help.

Hello RandorXeus, and thanks for your work patrolling new changes. I am just informing you that I have deleted a page you tagged (Lowell Reynolds) under a different criteria, because the one you provided was inappropriate or incorrect. CSD criteria are narrow and specific, and the process is more effective if the correct deletion rationale is supplied. Consider reviewing the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any queries, please let me know. Thanks again! decltype (talk) 22:34, 4 July 2009 (UTC)

DYK for Alex Pyron
On June 29, 2010, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Alex Pyron, which you created or substantially expanded. You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check ) and add it to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page.
In a quick look at Piedmont College, I would also try to make sure the references have all the needed information, like access date, publisher, etc. There are also many places that need references, for example the Mission statement is a direct quote and has no ref.
The History of... article needs a lead section per WP:LEAD.
Why do people like you keep reverting my edits?! Can't you see I've explained why I did it? Stop being so blind and think before you act! 69.123.125.243 (talk) 17:24, 6 January 2012 (UTC)

Hello ТимофейЛееСуда, since you are highly active on the account creation interface, I have enabledaccountcreator on your account. This will enable you to ignore the normal limit on daily account creations and other checks. Please take note of the following points:
This permission does not give you any special status or authority.
Be sure that the conflicting account is inactive when overriding the spoofing check.
Creation of inappropriate accounts or pages may lead to its removal.
Disruptive editing of edit notices may lead to its removal
I am trying to correct factual inaccuracies and inconsistencies with the source reference to the section on Andrew Sullivan's Oxford career. I do not believe these edits violate NPOV rules (in fact the other editor's revisions are worse if mine are in any way not 100% accurate). If you have an alternative point of view kindly take the time to discuss, or offer a more effective edit. Simply reverting other people's legitimate edits is not helpful and tends to waste everyone's time.
Thank you.90.206.62.135 (talk) 22:32, 11 January 2012 (UTC)
I stand corrected. I apologize for that. I did some more research and it is true. I removed the warning I posted. I can honestly say that I never would've believed it, but its been cited by multiple sources. I'll back you up on it if it ever becomes an issue again.
Can you please explain what is going on. Is someone going through every single image I have uploaded or are people going through all images at the moment. Could someone also please use their brain before constantly sending me these deletion notices asking me to edit the file description, I do not know what BS wikipedia jargon is required to state the obvious, which is that these are civic arms, owned by nobody and their reproduction on this site is normal, not controversial and why can't the people who are identifying the files that need that description amended not just do it themselves? Wikipedia is becoming every more pedantic and irritating with every day that passes.Aetheling1125 15:46, 21 January 2012 (UTC)
Editors are constantly going through images especially ones that are not used in association with articles. I listed it for deletion because it does not have a source. (ie where did you get the image from). On the link listed in the summary is a slightly different image and underneath it is says "All Rights Reserved" (ie copywritten). If it is in the public domain that is fine, but it needs to have a source. Also, in response to your question as to why people who are identifying them as needing description or sources, this is because it is the burden of the uploader (you in this case) to prove that it can be successfully used on Wikipedia. I am saddened that you feel that Wikipedia is becoming pedantic and irritating, but no one is forcing you to be here. You do not have to change the descriptions on your images, they can just be deleted. I think that very few people are getting images deleted just for the fun of it. There are reasons there are policies in place. If you would like assistance with these or anything else, I am more than happy to help. -- ТимофейЛееСуда. 16:35, 21 January 2012 (UTC)
Just because it isn't currently used in any article, doesn't mean that it has no purpose. It could be used in a future article, or one that describes stores as such. -- ТимофейЛееСуда. 23:59, 25 January 2012 (UTC)
To TMOTB, the purpose of the MtC drive is to move every file, regardless of if it's used or not. The hole point of the drives is to get rid of all the misplaced files, to have no backlog (as I made the 2 drives). I know that there is "Priority candidates" now. ~~Ebe123~~ → report on my contribs. 01:27, 26 January 2012 (UTC)
File:William Congreve.png
Hi, I thought I should notify you out of courtesy that I've declined your di request at File:William Congreve.png. As you probably know, all of the speedy deletion processes are designed for uncontroversial deletions. As you can see from the page, the image is of William Congreve who died in 1729. There is therefore sufficient contention to make di an inappropriate process to use. If, having reviewed the page, you still believe that you can explain how an image of 2-D portrait of someone who died 283 years ago could be other than PD, then I'd be happy to debate it with you at WP:FfD. Cheers, --RexxS (talk) 02:34, 27 January 2012 (UTC)
Public Domain or not, I requested CSD F4 because there is no source. Who took the photo of the art, or who made the art, etc, etc. I guess I need some more understanding about why it is required to have source on some images, but not on others. Thanks for your time. -- ТимофейЛееСуда. 02:40, 27 January 2012 (UTC)
I agree that you do need to understand copyright provisions a little better, particularly if you're going to spend time tagging files for deletion. I'll see if I can be helpful then. The case of Bridgeman Art Library v. Corel Corp. established in US law that a mere reproduction of any 2-D work of art cannot generate a fresh copyright. Any residual copyright in the File:William Congreve.png image could therefore only be from the original portrait. It is so unlikely that an original portrait of a subject who died in 1729 would still be in copyright that a reasonable presumption of public domain can be made. In that case, it simply doesn't matter what the source was, and it is therefore not required in order to verify copyright. I hope that helps you with the general case, which I'd be happy to debate with you, if you still felt uncomfortable. The point is surely that it is so overwhelmingly certain to be PD, that the source cannot be relevant.
I'm the creator of this image. I added a line on the file page to this effect. It's been years I'm out of touch with editing, so I don't know if there are any new templates that would be more suitable for licensing info. deeptrivia (talk) 03:12, 31 January 2012 (UTC)
File permission problem with File:Loblaws, North York, Toronto.JPG
What's the problem with this file? I took the photo and uploaded it and even put a PD-self tag on the page. Why was it tagged as if it is missing evidence of permission and should be deleted? sikander (talk) 22:07, 31 January 2012 (UTC)
Because it was uploaded by User:Siqbal but sourced to sikander. I will remove the no-permission tag if you don't mind adding that those are one in the same, as it is currently not evident on the image's description. Thanks! -- ТимофейЛееСуда. 22:10, 31 January 2012 (UTC)
Hi - you wrote: Thank you for uploading File:LawyersheadNZ.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. Believe it or not, {{gfdl-self}} is some form of indication that the person who uploaded the file is the copyright holder, having created the work themself. That's what the "self" in the template name refers to. Please be more careful when tagging images that have legitimate file copyright descriptions! Grutness...wha?00:38, 1 February 2012 (UTC)
You also tagged file:LakeGunnBush.jpg that way, even though I clearly stated in the description that I had taken the photo, as well as adding a gfdl-self (It was listed under my own name rather than my user name, but a quick look at my user page would make it clear that I was the photographer). Please think before you tag! Grutness...wha?00:57, 1 February 2012 (UTC)
1. Go to YouTube and do a search for Chitrapa. You'll discover my user name for Wikipedia and YouTube are the same.
Then, go to my video channel. There's a news story about a Civil Affairs Mission in Baghdad.
2. Here's the link to my blog: http://privatenotebook.blogspot.com/
3. Here's the direct link to the specific page where image in question is posted: http://privatenotebook.blogspot.com/2011/10/mission-complete.html
If you take a few moments to actually read my Blog, you'll clearly see I've been to Iraq and took this picture w/ my own personal camera.
4. If you need more proof, please Google the name Peter Rimar.
5. Ditto the comments by Grutness.
6. Question: Do you "ЛееСуда" have an agenda beyond editing?
v/r
Peter Rimar Chitrapa
To answer your overall question, I tagged it as such because it was not immediately obvious to me that the name you sourced (Your real name) was connected to your user name. The only proof I need is that connection, so if you don't mind adding that your real name and user name are one in the same, I will gladly take off the CSD Tag. When it comes to other sources, there is no verifiable proof from YouTube that you are who you say you are. Please don't misunderstand, I do believe that you have taken this picture, but there just wasn't any immediate evidence connecting everything.
Also, my name is ТимофейЛееСуда, it is my full real name, Тимофей Лее Суда. So, when you poised your question, you essentially called me by my middle and last names. Just thought you might like to know.
And to answer your final question, it is very unbecoming to accuse me of having an agenda. Currently, I am trying to work on assisting in removing images that are mistagged. Do you realize how many images are tagged as PD or PD-self that actually are copyrighted? Without simple evidence that it is truly PD, Wikipedia is just harboring stolen images. If the whole SOPA or PIPA acts pass, that would put Wikipedia as one of the first sites to be blocked for "linking or hosting copyrighted content."
1. Go to YouTube and type in Peter Rimar in the search box. You'll clearly see that my real name (Peter Rimar) and my user name Chitrapa ARE connected on BOTH services. Do you know why? Because I publish on BOTH YouTube and Wikipedia. Every image I've uploaded to Wikipedia has a link to a self-published BLOG(s). I'm NOT a new user to Wikipedia. I took these steps in an attempt to prevent this exact type of scenario.
2. FYI: Every person that contributes to Wikipedia has an agenda (i.e. individual call to action). SOPA and PIPA (bills not "acts"), in current form, are politically DOA. You've been contributing to Wikipedia since at least 2007, so I'm quite sure SOPA and PIPA were not an original factor in your Wiki-Activism.
3. Quote: "I do believe that you have taken this picture."
Question: Then why didn't you immediately remove the Tag?
4. The error regarding your name was a paste & cut mistake.
v/r

All you need to do is edit the image's page and add that you took the photograph and then sign your name. Its as simple as that. Let me know when you do, and I will remove the tag. Thanks, -- ТимофейЛееСуда. 01:42, 9 February 2012 (UTC)
