[edit] Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. MrOllie (talk) 22:53, 1 August 2024 (UTC)
- The existing text is factually incorrect in stating "VBA is incompatible with any of them except Visual Basic".
- VBA is compatible with twinBASIC. VBA source code can be run in twinBASIC. This is a fact, not "soapboxing, advertising or promotion". Steve-Aug2024 (talk) 23:06, 1 August 2024 (UTC)
- That Wikipedia article is not a place to namedrop unrelated third-party software. Putting it in the article where it does not belong is promotional. MrOllie (talk) 23:08, 1 August 2024 (UTC)
- In what way can software which is backwards compatible with VBA be considered "unrelated"? Steve-Aug2024 (talk) 23:18, 1 August 2024 (UTC)
- VBA is a proprietary implementation. That someone cloned it (or more accurately, parts of it) is irrelevant. MrOllie (talk) 23:28, 1 August 2024 (UTC)
