License tagging for Image:Silver megaloader.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Silver megaloader.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 10:09, 16 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Thank you for your edit to the disambiguation page Stephen Lee (disambiguation). However, please note that disambiguation pages are not articles; rather, they are meant to help readers find a specific article quickly and easily. From the disambiguation do's and don'ts, you should:
- Only list articles that readers might reasonably be looking for
- Use short sentence fragment descriptions, which should not end with punctuation
- Use only one navigable link ("blue link") in each entry, and avoid red links
- Not pipe links—keep the full title of the article visible

[edit] Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Sleeper bus, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. The reverted edit can be found here. --some jerk on the Internet (talk) 23:28, 15 November 2011 (UTC)

[edit] Hello, I'm Shoy. I wanted to let you know that one or more external links you added to UKIP Frontbench Team have been removed because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. shoy (reactions) 14:34, 9 April 2019 (UTC)
- Hi Shoy.
- I have only just seen that I have been blocked. I am somewhat confused. I was probably at the time of writing any of the items concerned, the transport spokesman for UKIP and admit that I would have been explaining our policies. UKIP is a UK political party so in theory, anything we write explaining our policies will have an element of promotion I guess. It is a thin line. I am no longer involved in politics as my business really kicked off after the pandemic and would really appreciate you reversing your ban on my account "jumbocruiser". Our main business is the carriage of musicians in our sleeper coaches (see jumbocrfuiser.com) and I again have never intentionally promoted our business on Wikipedia. As a long term donor I do agree with the policy.

- Hi Shoy, you colleague Daniel wrote the following at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/UKIP_Frontbench_Team
- Unfortunately he shows some ignorance here . He is correct that UKIP never had more the one member of the UK Parliament but we held the majority of Members of the European Parliament at the time concerned which I am sure you will agree makes Daniel's claim rather suspicious.
- So it turns out that I am being penalised for merely adding my name to the list of UKUP leaders and representatives. Not doing anyh promotions at all - just historical facts.

- I have processed the rename but left the unblock request open, as the user has not answered 331dot's question. --Yamla (talk) 21:51, 17 May 2023 (UTC)

If you intend to make useful contributions about some topic other than your business or organisation, you may request an unblock. To do so, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}}
at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:CentralAuth to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy. Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In that reason, you must:
- Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
- Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
{{unblock|Your reason here}}
at the bottom of your talk page, replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason for thinking that the block was an error, and publish the page. Alexf(talk) 13:32, 10 April 2019 (UTC)- What edits do you intend to make? Are you going to edit about UKIP going forward? 331dot (talk) 09:50, 15 May 2023 (UTC)
