Information icon Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Stonewall Democrats Utah. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Alexf(talk) 11:58, 7 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Please restore the information I added to the article. The article is outdated, particularly in two concerns.
  1. It gives the impression that the organization was once a PAC and is no longer in that status. That status was restored in January of 2016 while Becky Moss was the Chair. I had been on the board for two years when that happened, and I provided the link to the Utah Lieutenant Governor to document that fact.
  2. There is a change in leadership of the organization this year. Jennifer Schwarz was the Chair until January 1 of this year when I was sworn in. The link to my Linked-In page was added to document that, not to somehow promote myself or products. This is further supported by the fact that Linked-In pages are supporting the leadership of past chairs, but somehow, mine is somehow different?
You want to delete my supporting links? Fine. You have better links to support the facts I provided, please use them. But please do not delete the updated information I provided.

Wikipedia's guideline on conflict of interest

[edit]

I see that you have edited an article about an organisation in which you have a personal involvement. Doing so is strongly discouraged, as explained in the guideline on conflict of interest. You should read that guideline before you do any more editing, and comply with it. JBW (talk) 10:23, 14 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
