Well, hello world!

I'm a coder by vocation. I enjoy the open source initiative and would love to be able to contribute more. My most recent endeavor in this regard is curating Wikipedia articles. I never realized how hard it is to write a small article on Wikipedia until I tried it first, early 2018.

Managing a conflict of interest

Hello, Slavicd. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Direct Textbook, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Look Slavicd, we can do this dance all day if you'd like, but the end result is that you're going to get blocked if you persistently continue to remove tags. I respect that you need to get paid, but Wikipedia doesn't work that way. Next time, I'm going to shoot that to Administrator's noticeboard. Derant (talk) 20:29, 4 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you remove maintenance templates from Wikipedia articles without resolving the problem that the template refers to. A tagging editor isn't required to do more than identify the problem and add the tag. If you don't understand what you need to do, follow the links or ask the tagger on their talk page, don't indulge in edit warring and disruptive editing Jimfbleak - talk to me? 06:35, 8 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Multiple accounts?
