Hello! Voting in the 2025 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 1 December 2025. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

Articles for Creation backlog drive

WikiProject Articles for creation is holding a month long Backlog Drive in December!
The goal of this drive is to reduce the backlog of unreviewed drafts to less than half a month of outstanding reviews from the current 2+ months. Bonus points will be given for reviewing drafts that have been waiting more than 30 days. The drive is running from 1 December 2025 through 31 December 2025.
You may find Category:AfC pending submissions by age or other categories and sorting helpful.
Barnstars will be given out as awards at the end of the drive.

In regards to this revert [1], WP:SD40 is not a hard limit and 47 characters isn't significantly over that would justify removing the dates since generally anything under 50 characters won't be cut off for most use cases. WP:SDDATES generally does recommend DOB/DOD except for rulers. If you insist on the length, the better option would probably be to cut the station master bit, since the subject seems more notable for being an athlete. -- Patar knight - chat/contributions 05:26, 1 December 2025 (UTC)
