Templates
[edit]TalkBack
[edit]Generally use the talkback template to try to steer any dialogue over to my own talk page, and copy over all prior thread components to my talk page whenever making a third contribution to a discussion thread.
Redirects
[edit]Example:
- #REDIRECT [[TargetPageName]]
Unsigned
[edit]To use the templates for appending "missing signature notations" at the end of unsigned comments, use the following template:
Or simply use the following syntax:
{{subst:unsigned2|time, day month year (UTC)|user name or IP}}
- Keep the (UTC) and paste over the following two items, which can be copied and pasted from the edit history of the page:
- The entry's time.
- Username or ip.

[edit]Article talk page archives
[edit]Use the same types of templates I used for the Talk:Bullying talk page archives. Also see Help:Archiving_a_talk_page.
In summary, name the new archive page as:
Talk:ArticleName/Archive_N (where 'N' is the archive number.)
and place the:
{{Archive banner}} template at the top of the active talk page, and the
{{talkarchivenav}} template on the top and bottom of each archive page.
User talk page archives
[edit]- Move the old talk page to its new home.
- Cut and paste the header section (including the archive box) of the newest archive into the header of the newest talk page (thus re-creating my talk page).
- Cut and paste the header section (including the archive box) from the last complete archive page over the newest archive.
- Delete the original talk page header section from the newest archive page.
- In the newest archive update the following:
- Archive number.
- Archive date period.
- Archive box.
- In the newest Talk Page update the following:
- The Archive box.
- Minimally, transfer at least the last discussion topic from the bottom of the newest archive page to the top of the new talk page.
