Since you have a decent amount of historical information, I would definitely suggest making a "History" header and putting all information under that instead of in the abstract. - Great abstract. Very clear, covers a broad view of the topic.
- Do some careful copy editing.
- You have a lot of detail! This is looking really good for the current stage of the game.
- I'm not sure the "warning signs" subsection adds anything. Those aren't really warning signs and I think you'd be better off leaving it out.
- You've done a good job of making a difficult mechanism fairly accessible.
- Think about your subheadings and where they are helpful. There are some that seem unnecessary.
- There's not much on this in the past 10 years, but there is some research out there. Make sure you find what you can and include it.
