Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Attribute-based access control. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. Hi MrOllie - I am a first time editor on Wikipedia, but believe I added a disclaimer on my user talk page saying I worked at PlainID. Also, the ABAC topic that I added information to was lacking in descriptions about the PBAC topic, which is why I added more information to them. The links I added do not promote our company, rather explain the concept, which is why I added them. This is in fact what one of the existing entries on the ABAC page, which links to the Axiomatic ABAC definition page. The links I added were in the same vain. Would there be a better way than what I did? The issue here is that these are mostly 'vendor' provided solutions around these concepts, so it's going to be hard to find people to talk about them that aren't related to the topics from a commercial perspective. That said, I'd love to have someone write more on PBAC, which needs more clarification on this entry. I'd love to see a dedicated entry for Policy Based Access Control, too. I'd write it myself, but it seems it might be removed if I did that, no? Would love your advice on how to add more color to the PBAC term, within the rules of Wikipedia.
