Information icon Hello. Your recent edit to List of Mudaliars appears to have added the name of a non-notable entity to a list that normally includes only notable entries. In general, a person, organization or product added to a list should have a pre-existing article before being added to most lists. If you wish to create such an article, please first confirm that the subject qualifies for a separate, stand-alone article according to Wikipedia's notability guideline. Thank you. —C.Fred (talk) 03:30, 18 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at List of Mudaliars. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. List articles typically only include subjects who meet Wikipedia's notability requirements and already have an article. It is not sufficient that people exist - they must also be notable. Politanvm talk 18:10, 18 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. I am Gorebath. Prose you find online is almost always copyright, and cannot be copied here; it's against the copyright policy of this website to do so, such as you did in Ariyanatha Mudaliar. All prose must be written in your own words. The Wikipedia copyright policy and its application are complex matters, and you should not edit any more until you have taken the time to read and understand our copyright policy. There's a simplified version of our copyright rules at Wikipedia:FAQ/Copyright. Further copyright issues will result in you being blocked from editing. Information icon Hello, I'm Suneye1. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, List of Mudaliars, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. - SUN EYE 1 18:21, 16 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Notability in List Articles

[edit]

Hi @SakthiG1977, I removed those names from the list because list articles typically only contain people that meet Wikipedia’s notability guidelines. You can read more about this guideline at WP:LISTPEOPLE. In general, please do not add entries to lists if they don’t already have a Wikipedia article.
