Welcome and suggestion

[edit]

Hi SACastaneda. I noticed your message at Talk:Four Noble Truths#Wiki Education assignment: Honors World Religions. I think you'll have a hard time adding anything novel there, since the topic is already analysed in a lot of details. Except for Bhikkhu Buddhadasa's notion that "birth" is the birth of the ego; there's been quite some discussion of ending rebirth is central to the Buddha's teachings, or that it is basically about ending mental anguish. Almost every source will tell you that it is about ending rebirth, and yet, ending mental anguish makes much more sense. It's an interesting topic, where you ccould find something new.
A suggestion for an alternative topic is Conceptual proliferation. It's a mere stub, while the topic is very interesting; Fabian Volker, The Plurality of Nonduality, has a lot to say about it. Basicaly, the idea (...) is that we create a world of discrete objects with our thinking, or concepts; seeing through this conceptualization is kind of 'awakening', seeing things as the are. There's a lot that could be added there. Regards, Joshua Jonathan - Let's talk! 10:24, 29 September 2025 (UTC)<br. Too late... Joshua Jonathan - Let's talk! 08:26, 2 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
