Your edit to Ulta Beauty

[edit]

Hi RaspberryChef, I just wanted to drop you a note about your edit to the article Ulta Beauty, [1]. I'm afraid it was not written in the neutral and factual tone that is appropriate for an encyclopedia. "a strategic, long-term partnership to provide a “shop-in-shop” experience" is marketingspeak that adds no information beyond what was already in the article. The article already tells the reader that Target sell Ulta's products, and the date when the partnership was announced is not particularly relevant. The same thing applies to customer loyalty rewards – that kind of information belongs in the companies' own marketing material, but unless a secondary source discusses the rewards system (for instance in an academic book or article), it is not relevant for Wikipedia. Or, to put it another way, most Wikipedia readers neither know nor care what "Ultamate Rewards" and "Target Circle benefits" are, and those who do know and care will get the information about how the rewards work elsewhere.
