Question from Zwyrzykowski (17:31, 7 November 2025)

[edit]

Hello! I've recently submitted an edit, but I have a feeling the format was incorrect. How would I indicate that a piece of information is missing a citation, and one cannot be found?

I discovered that on the page for the Battle of Austerlitz, there is an alleged quote from Napoleon that has no source, and I have been unable to find any source for said quote. --Zwyrzykowski (talk) 17:31, 7 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hey @Zwyrzykowski, welcome to Wikipedia! The tag you might be looking for is {{Citation needed}}, but it looks like you've already succeeded in finding it since :)
You can read more about that template and when to use it here: Wikipedia:Citation needed. randomdude121    09:14, 8 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
