RJII did more to bring NPOV to Wikipedia than probably anyone in history, but was crucified for it. RJII sacrificed all in the fight to enforce NPOV and the Original Research policy, and to bring previously suppressed or not-widely-known viewpoints to Wikipedia. Pardon me, but RJII was not "crucified" for "NPOV actions", his account was blocked because it was a public account (Something RJII himself admitted). Creating a sockpuppet to "fight on" in the name of someone who has now VOLUNTARILY LEFT Wikipedia (Pending, supposedly, a party at Martha's Vineyard) is not exactly a smart move.

Plus, according to RJII himself he fought against NPOV and Original research. You must seriously consider fighting a different crusade, or at least researching your topic a bit better. You are, right now, just being a tool for someone who never needed one in the first place.

Untrue. RJII explicitly stated in his departing statement on the user page (which unfortunately has been deleted) that contrary to claims, the edits were NPOV and not original research. I know for a fact that RJII was pushing NPOV and fighting against Original research because I've been involved or watching the disputes from day one. Some of the things RJII put in might have been RJII's POV, but they were sourced and therefore not POV. He did his research and cited most everything or provided sources quickly when they were requested. RJII was bringing balance to previously biased articles and that upsets a few people. Not to mention RJII's ability to write with great clarity for easy understanding of complex topics, including those he probably disagreed with. For example they were claiming he was an anarcho-capitalist because of his edits but I saw him mention in the Anarchism article Discussion page that anarcho-capitalism was absurd. I think its pretty clear he was just trying to make sure all sides were presented accurately and hoping that people would choose his POV whatever that was because it made the most sense. I also think his departure message was just something to upset his enemies as he rode off into the sunset by feeding into their suspicions and paranoia. Behind all the bluster the RJII contribution was very good for the encyclopedia and NPOV. RJII'sSockPuppet 16:04, 29 June 2006 (UTC)
