No Rain, No Flowers

[edit]

Since No Rain, No Flowers (The Black Keys album) is the only article with this title, what do you say about moving it to No Rain, No Flowers, deleting the disambiguation page as unnecessary, and adding a hatnote? Frost 08:22, 9 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Frost go right ahead. QuietHere (talk | contributions) 08:47, 9 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Did this rise to the level of edit-warring?

[edit]

QuietHere, I am generally non-confrontational, but I am bothered by another user's editing approach on List of 2025 album. I found User:Vazafirst's approach to be non-cooperative and boarding on edit-warring, and am thinking of posting an edit-warring warning on his talk page, but just want to know what you think? Mburrell (talk) 20:56, 6 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Mburrell you could leave a warning if you're concerned, I don't see the harm in that, but I don't think they're quite at the level of edit-warring yet. Remember that the rule 3RR; they have remade the edit twice, so they're close, but they haven't remade it since and it's been more than 24 hours, which if I understand correctly is the cutoff point where they could maybe get a pass for it. If you do leave a warning, you should also link the discussion you started so they know the issue isn't being ignored/they aren't being punished for what they reasonably feel is a valid, good faith edit. QuietHere (talk | contributions) 07:33, 7 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Then I guess I didn't mean edit warring. I mean that they reverted whole edits, not just the Bieber portion but all the edit across multiple album fixes. I mean that when two different editors reverted their edits, instead of taking it to the talk page there was a reversion that stated "This is a list of ALL albums released in 2025", even though that is not the definition of the list. So I guess I thought there should be a posting to their talk page reminding them Wikipedia:Five pillars, about treating each other with respect and civility, complying with Wikipedia:Dispute resolution.
I am taking it that Vazafirst's approach did not get your hackles up, make you want to ask them to slow down and consider what others are trying to say. Well, if it was just me, I will back off and let it go. Mburrell (talk) 00:54, 8 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Michael Cera Palin - new article attempt

[edit]

Hi, I've drafted a new version of an article about the American band Michael Cera Palin. You had previously nominated the article for deletion here [[1]] in April 2022 and it was soft deleted in May 2022. I think the deletion made total sense at the time. I think the situation with coverage in reliable sources has changed, so I wanted to have another crack at this being an article. Can you let me know your thoughts on the draft? I've followed the process to request undeleting, but thought it appropriate to check in with you as the previous deletion nominator. Thank you! Boredintheevening (talk) 17:10, 9 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Boredintheevening looks good, at least in terms of there being plenty of reliable coverage. I figured it'd be the case eventually with this band; I've seen their name around enough times over the years. There are some issues with the draft, but the only one I think might keep the draft from being published as an article is the usage of Discogs as a source (see WP:DISCOGS). Thank you for your feedback here + your contributions to improving and tidying up the draft. Really appreciate it. Boredintheevening (talk) 09:05, 10 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
