Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Prempy, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, your edit to Okuapeman School does not conform to Wikipedia's Neutral Point of View policy (NPOV). Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media.

There's a page about the NPOV policy that has tips on how to effectively write about disparate points of view without compromising the NPOV status of the article as a whole. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the Questions page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, click here to ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. Below are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Questions or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!  Tacyarg (talk) 15:51, 26 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Mirrors

[edit]

Information icon Thanks for contributing to the article Daminozide. However, one of Wikipedia's core policies is that material must be verifiable and attributed to reliable sources. You have recently used citations which copied, or mirrored, material from Wikipedia. This leads to a circular reference and is not acceptable. Most mirrors are clearly labeled as such, but some are in violation of our license and do not provide the correct attribution. Please help by adding alternate sources to the article you edited! If you need any help or clarification, you can look at Help:Contents/Editing Wikipedia or ask at Wikipedia:New contributors' help page, or just ask me. Thank you. June 2025

Information icon Hello, I'm Tacyarg. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Okuapeman School have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. Tacyarg (talk) 08:09, 14 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm NebY. I wanted to let you know that I removed one or more external links you added to the main body of Sex manual. Generally, any relevant external links should be listed in an "External links" section at the end of the article and meet the external links guidelines. Links within the body of an article should be internal wikilinks. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. NebY (talk) 16:25, 17 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

This article uses British English, I have reverted your changes to spellings. Orange sticker (talk) 10:59, 16 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

You appear to still be changing the article to American English. What's worse is that you've also changed it in direct quotes, which you shouldn't do. Please leave the article's language as it is, thank you. โ€” Czello (music) 11:10, 16 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Feedback on my contributions

[edit]

Hello everyone! ๐Ÿ‘‹

Iโ€™m fairly new to editing Wikipedia and I would love to get feedback on my recent contributions. Are there any areas you think I could improve on or guidelines I should pay closer attention to?

Thanks in advance for your help and guidance!

Prempy (talk) 12:29, 8 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your contributions to The Role of Social Media in the Modern Reparations Movement. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it seems to consist of AI-generated text. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. ProtobowlAddict talk! 17:50, 17 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Protobowladdict
Hello, thanks for the review but I would like to ask why and how u are saying the article consist of Ai text Prempy (talk) 17:55, 17 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Protobowladdict
I have u seen the legit reference from wiki library I used, why do u think is more like an essay than an article, so are u saying the topic doesn't need an article.

It appears to be the result of some editathon. I'll try to contact the organizers. Children Will Listen (๐Ÿ„ talk, ๐Ÿซ˜ contribs) 04:57, 22 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Why are you editing this article in such a peculiar manner? One line at a time, breaking off mid sentence, then continuing on the next edit? --Escape Orbit (Talk) 15:10, 21 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Escape Orbit is something wrong with that?? Prempy (talk) 15:12, 21 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Yes. It constantly leaves the article, which is not a draft, in a fragmented state. It also makes it difficult for others to understand what you are doing. Is there a reason you are editing it like this? --Escape Orbit (Talk) 15:53, 21 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Escape Orbit ok I'll stop that Prempy (talk) 15:56, 21 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Prempy You are intentionally trying to game your edit count for the editathon. Please stop immediately. Children Will Listen (๐Ÿ„ talk, ๐Ÿซ˜ contribs) 05:04, 22 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@ChildrenWillListen I want to know if the is a particular way words are added to a developing article Prempy (talk) 08:53, 22 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I need to talk to the organizers of this event. Do you know who I can contact and how? Children Will Listen (๐Ÿ„ talk, ๐Ÿซ˜ contribs) 08:55, 22 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@ChildrenWillListen it's a global thing so I don't know Prempy (talk) 08:57, 22 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
How did you join the event? Do you attend their Zoom calls? Children Will Listen (๐Ÿ„ talk, ๐Ÿซ˜ contribs) 09:00, 22 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked as a sockpuppet

[edit]
Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively as a sockpuppet of User:Crab44 per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Crab44. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: Your reason here ~~~~. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.

Request reason:

I've been to a sockpuppet Mz7 has suspected, I assure you that it is not so, we are a group of people in an editathon when we are connected to the same wifi connection in a university institution, and I think that was why it was suspected that one person is using multiple accounts because we all use the same IP address, I plead and beseech thee that it is a misunderstanding and that the necessary actions to take place thank you. Please unblock me so I can contribute productively. Prempy (talk) 11:17, 24 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Notes:

 • In some cases, you may not in fact be blocked, or your block has already expired. Please check the list of active blocks. If no block is listed, then you have been autoblocked by the automated anti-vandalism systems. Please remove this request and follow these instructions instead for quick attention by an administrator.
 • Please read our guide to appealing blocks to make sure that your unblock request will help your case. You may change your request at any time.
Administrator use only:

If you ask the blocking administrator to comment on this request, replace this template with the following, replacing "blocking administrator" with the name of the blocking admin:

If you decline the unblock request, replace this template with the following code, substituting with a specific rationale. Leaving the decline reason unchanged will result in display of a default reason, explaining why the request was declined.

{{unblock reviewed |1=I've been to a sockpuppet Mz7 has suspected, I assure you that it is not so, we are a group of people in an editathon when we are connected to the same wifi connection in a university institution, and I think that was why it was suspected that one person is using multiple accounts because we all use the same IP address, I plead and beseech thee that it is a misunderstanding and that the necessary actions to take place thank you. If you accept the unblock request, replace this template with the following, substituting Accept reason here with your rationale:

{{unblock reviewed |1=I've been to a sockpuppet Mz7 has suspected, I assure you that it is not so, we are a group of people in an editathon when we are connected to the same wifi connection in a university institution, and I think that was why it was suspected that one person is using multiple accounts because we all use the same IP address, I plead and beseech thee that it is a misunderstanding and that the necessary actions to take place thank you. Please place new posts at the bottom, so they stay in chronological order. The blocking checkuser was aware that this could be an editathon, but there still seems to be sockpuppetry or meat puppetry going on. 331dot (talk) 11:21, 25 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for taking the time to review my unblock request. I understand that the checkuser was aware this could be an editathon but still saw signs of sockpuppetry or coordinated editing.
I want to respectfully clarify that I was part of the official "Africa Wiki Challenge 2025 in Ho" editathon, held at a university setting, where multiple editors participated and were all connected through the same institutional Wi-Fi. The event is publicly documented here: https://meta.m.wikimedia.org/wiki/Event:Africa_Wiki_Challenge_2025_in_Ho
Each participant, including myself, used their individual accounts and contributed independently. I personally have no control over how others behaved, but I acted in good faith and only aimed to contribute positively to Wikipedia.
If any of our actions unintentionally raised red flags, I sincerely apologize. I am happy to cooperate, learn from the experience, and follow all community guidelines moving forward. I hope this clarifies my intentions, and I kindly ask for a reconsideration. Thank you. Prempy (talk) 12:12, 25 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
