User talk:PleaseDoNotQuestionMyEdits
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia!
I hope not to seem unfriendly or make you feel unwelcome, but I noticed your username, and I am concerned that it might not meet Wikipedia's username policy. After you look over that policy, could we discuss that concern here?
I'd appreciate learning your own views, for instance your reasons for wanting this particular name, and what alternative username you might accept that avoids raising this concern.
You have several options freely available to you:
- If you can relieve my concern through discussing it here, I can stop worrying about it.
- If the two of us can't agree here, we can ask for help through Wikipedia's dispute resolution process, such as requesting comments from other Wikipedians. Wikipedia administrators usually abide by agreements reached through this process.
- You can keep your contributions history under a new username. Visit Wikipedia:Changing username and follow the guidelines there.
Thank you. Nomorenonotnever (talk) 10:11, 28 June 2008 (UTC)
Hi
Firstly, I don't understand why you would have chosen such a provocative user name. Are you trying to make trouble? Or do you genuinely feel that you are in charge here?
Secondly, please do not edit other users' contributions to Talk pages. You can add, but do not subtract. You have no right to edit what I said on a talk page and there are 50000 Wikipedia guidelines to explain this to you.
Thirdly, the reason we have Talk pages is to discuss change. You do not get to solely dictate the content of articles - you get to discuss it with other users. Thus I have reverted your changes to RCM and RAM since you do not seem to wish to discuss them., In contrast, I have explained why I don;t think those sentences should be in there. Perhaps you could manage the same?

Please don't get yourself confused
[edit]Please don't get yourself confused.
My work here is done: you have been given, free of charge, a little lesson in being a better editor. Really you ought to thank me, but I will never, ever, read another word that you write, so perhaps you shouldn't bother.
Remember now: edit summaries, humility. Bye now! Editquestioner (talk) 13:07, 3 July 2008 (UTC)

[edit] You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. - Eureka Lott 14:51, 3 July 2008 (UTC)
