Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved content from Copper Cliff, Ontario into another page. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content (here or elsewhere), Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. I already added an attribution edit for the time being, but I'm not quite sure why you merged anyways- Copper Cliff doesn't have any real editing history whereas Copper Cliff, Ontario does - it also looks to have been created earlier - so I think it's probably preferable to keep the content at its original place. The article can always be renamed if needed. Zzz plant (talk) 02:28, 19 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

No problem- I'm going to go ahead and restore the article text to its original location, and the current article back to a redirect. If you think the article should be renamed to just Copper Cliff instead of Copper Cliff, Ontario, you can nominate the redirect for CSD G6 to make way for the move. Information icon Hello, I'm 204.111.137.106. I noticed that you recently removed all content from a page. Please do not do this. Blank pages are harmful to Wikipedia because they have a tendency to confuse readers. As a rule, if you discover a duplicate article, please redirect it to an appropriate existing page. If a page has been vandalised, please revert it to the last legitimate version. If you feel that the content of a page is inappropriate, please edit the page and replace it with appropriate content. If you believe there is no hope for the page, please see the deletion policy for how to proceed. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you wish to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. 204.111.137.106 (talk) 19:23, 12 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, yes I made a mistake when editing due to misinterpreting guidelines. Thanks Platttenbau (talk) 19:24, 12 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Graham McGregor (politician), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Michael Ford.
