- Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
- It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
- If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
- Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
- When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
- If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
- Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.
Happy editing! Cheers, Oblivy (talk) 09:53, 3 September 2024 (UTC)

Draft
[edit]Hi! Isn't User talk:Trendjacking supposed to be a WP:DRAFT? We got these WP:NAMESPACES here. You moved it from Talk:Trendjacking to User talk:Trendjacking but if you are still working on it it should probably be at Draft:Trendjacking. Polygnotus (talk) 09:53, 31 August 2025 (UTC)
- That sounds cool @Polygnotus. Just finding the process really daunting. I want to publish. Can you help? Optimycticism (talk) 10:00, 31 August 2025 (UTC)
- Note I have moved to Draft:Trendjacking. As a new user please do use the Wikipedia:Teahouse for any questions to help the learning process. Regards KylieTastic (talk) 10:02, 31 August 2025 (UTC)
- @KylieTastic Woah you are pretty scary that is exactly what I was writing. Are you a mind reader? Polygnotus (talk) 10:03, 31 August 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks guys. @KylieTastic and @Polygnotus. This does seem pretty inpenetrable at present. Optimycticism (talk) 10:04, 31 August 2025 (UTC)
- Only on weekends ;) KylieTastic (talk) 10:04, 31 August 2025 (UTC)
- @KylieTastic and @Polygnotus I really appreciate the help. This is a topic I know about and I think needs to be better understood by organizations. It took a while to get together and while there is more to say, I am excited to see if it resonates and what the feedback from the community is.
- Really appreciate the help, esp as weekends is the only time I can edit. Thanks guys! Optimycticism (talk) 10:14, 31 August 2025 (UTC)
- OK so then the next step is looking at sources that are available. Perhaps this one? Available here. Or this one. Or that one from the Journal of Marketing Research. Polygnotus (talk) 11:07, 31 August 2025 (UTC)
